Gallardo (2-3) allowed three runs on four hits (two home runs) while walking two and striking out three over 6.1 innings in Monday's 6-5 win over Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
It was an effective start for the veteran righty and helped lower his ERA to 4.53 on the year. He's given up at least three runs in six of his eight starts, though, and his uninspiring 32:17 K:BB in 45.2 innings shows how little upside he has left at 31 years of age. Gallardo has been pretty hittable for a while now, as evidenced by his 11.9 percent HR/FB. Consider him a shaky matchup play in deep mixed and AL-only affairs.

Gallardo gave up three runs on four hits and three walks over five innings in a no-decision Wednesday against the Phillies. He struck out just one.
EDGE Analysis
Gallardo finished with a brutal 1.58 WHIP last year, and he's heading right back in that direction again this time around with a 1.45 mark. He's given up at least three runs in five of his seven starts, and his 27:15 K:BB over 39.1 innings is unimpressive; Gallardo has a surprisingly decent 3.77 FIP, but that's probably just statistical noise from a guy who looks like he's already over the hill at age 31.

Gallardo didn't factor into the decision Friday versus the Rangers but gave up just an earned run on four hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran right-hander has now gone at least six innings in four straight starts and hasn't yielded a home run during that stretch. His control continues to be on the spotty side -- he's issued multiple walks in four of his six outings -- but his 1.46 WHIP still represents an improvement over the 1.58 figure he generated with the Orioles last season. Gallardo has now yielded just one earned run in two of his last three starts and will look to keep things going in the right direction in a road matchup versus the Phillies next Wednesday.

Gallardo (1-3) allowed four runs on six hits and three walks while striking out seven batters over six innings during Saturday's loss to Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
After spinning his best start of the season last time out, Gallardo allowed four first-inning runs and saw his ERA climb to 5.08 Saturday. While he's now struck out seven batters in consecutive outings, the veteran's only strong start came against the underwhelming Athletics offense. Gallardo's next start lines up to be a tough matchup at Safeco Field against the Rangers next weekend.

Gallardo (1-2) struck out seven and gave up an earned run on four hits and a walk over 6.1 innings in Sunday's 11-1 win over the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran right-hander was considerably better than in his last start against the Marlins, notching 15 swinging strikes and relatively cruising through his time on the mound. The only run on Gallardo's ledger came after he exited, as reliever Tony Zych allowed a sacrifice fly to Matt Joyce that plated inherited runner Ryon Healy. It was easily the 31-year-old's best outing of the season, with his strikeout total representing a personal best and the outing also representing the first in which he didn't give up multiple runs. Gallardo lowered his ERA from 6.19 to 4.84 with the strong effort and he'll look to replicate his success in a Friday road start versus a dangerous Indians squad.

Gallardo (0-2) suffered his second loss of the season Tuesday against the Marlins, allowing four runs on nine hits with no walks and three strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Gallardo allowed a run on three hits in each of the first two innings, and another pair on a home run by Justin Bour in the third. He settled down from that point on and finished his day by battling out of a jam in the sixth. Seattle was without a hit until the ninth inning, minimizing any chance Gallardo would've had to earn his first win with the club, but it was encouraging to see him go deeper into the game after managing just five innings in both of his first two starts. He still carries a bloated 6.19 ERA through 16 innings and will look to reduce this figure Sunday against the Athletics.

Gallardo allowed four runs on seven hits and four walks across five innings in a no-decision Wednesday against the Astros. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Gallardo allowed just one baserunner through three innings, but he began to fade in the fourth, allowing a pair of runs on three walks and two hits. He continued to struggle in the following frame, yielding two more runs on four hits, and ultimately lost his chance at a victory as Houston opened the game up later against the bullpen. The early results for Gallardo in a Mariners uniform have not been encouraging through 10 innings, as he will take a 6.30 ERA and 2.10 WHIP into Tuesday's start against the Marlins.

Gallardo (0-1) allowed three runs on eight hits and two walks across five innings in Friday's loss to the Angels. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Gallardo was under constant duress in this one and allowed multiple baserunners in four innings, including the first two men he faced before being removed with no outs in the sixth. He allowed just two extra-base hits, but he threw just 57 percent of his pitches for strikes and struggled from behind in the count. Gallardo is coming off of a poor 2016 season and is not off to the best start to the present campaign, so he is a speculative fantasy play at best heading into Tuesday's matchup with the Astros.

Gallardo surrendered seven earned runs on nine hits and two walks over 4.1 innings in Monday's 12-2 Cactus League loss to the Padres. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Gallardo surrendered a trio two-run home runs, with two coming in the first inning off the bats of Wil Myers and Ryan Schimpf. The Mariners' No. 5 starter will have one more opportunity to right the ship before the regular season when he takes the mound in Saturday's spring finale against the Rockies, but worked up to 91 pitches in Monday's outing per AJ Cassavell of MLB.com.

Gallardo racked up seven strikeouts but gave up three runs over 4.2 innings in a minor league start against the Royals on Wednesday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gallardo allowed four hits and a walk overall as he got his work in on his regular pitching schedule. The projected No. 5 starter had a rough outing in the World Baseball Classic for Team Mexico but bounced back in his return to spring action last Friday against the Diamondbacks, giving up two runs over 4.1 innings and 70 pitches.
