De La Rosa didn't factor into the decision against the Nationals on Saturday but struck out eight over just five innings. He also surrendered three earned runs on eight hits and a walk.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran southpaw notched 13 swinging strikes over his 112 pitches and completely avoided the long ball. De La Rosa's eight strikeouts equaled his season high in that category, which he'd set in his first start of the season back on Apr. 4. The 35-year-old has pitched much better in the second half after a rocky start to the season, but has only notched one decision in five August starts. He'll look to get back in the win column versus the D-backs next Friday.

De La Rosa allowed just two runs with six strikeouts compared to just one walk across eight innings in Sunday's win over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
De La Rosa was impressive Sunday, as he limited baserunners effectively and was only scored upon via a pair of solo home runs. The veteran completed eight frames for the first time in 2016 and tied his season high in pitches thrown. The quality start was his fourth in the last six outings, and he will have the opportunity to build on his recent success Saturday against the Nationals.

De La Rosa gave up four runs on six hits and four walks with four strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision Monday against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
De La Rosa was tagged for a pair of home runs and was lucky it wasn't worse, considering his lapses in control. His K:BB sits at an ugly 76:49, and the combination of constant baserunners and Coors Field hasn't been kind to him. De La Rosa's ERA is up to 5.29.

De La Rosa allowed three runs on seven hits and three walks with only one strikeout over five innings Wednesday in Texas.
EDGE Analysis
He didn't come away with a decision despite leaving in line to lose, as the Rockies rallied in the eighth inning to get him off the hook. The veteran southpaw is in the midst of his worst season in terms of ERA and WHIP since joining the Rockies back in 2008, and Coors Field hasn't been the problem -- he's been bad everywhere. As he's not a guy whose body type suggests longevity, it's possible De La Rosa is simply reaching the end of the line at age 35.

De La Rosa (7-7) threw six quality innings, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out four Mets in Friday's win.
EDGE Analysis
De La Rosa continued his fine pitching Friday, twirling his seventh quality start in his last eight outings. Outside of a terrible game on July 20 versus the Rays (seven earned runs in four innings) De La Rosa has a sterling 2.20 ERA dating back to May 28. The southpaw will look to keep things rolling when he takes the hill for his next start Friday against the Marlins.

De La Rosa allowed two runs-one earned-over 6.1 innings in a no-decision against the Orioles on Monday. He allowed four hits, walked three, and struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Slowly but surely De La Rosa has been getting his season back on track. He has allowed three runs or fewer in six of his last seven starts. The one outlier was a nine-run implosion in his previous start. The lefty will carry a 5.70 ERA and 1.62 WHIP into his start Saturday against the Mets.

De La Rosa lasted just four innings and took the loss against the Rays on Wednesday, allowing nine runs, seven of them earned, on 11 hits while striking out just one.
EDGE Analysis
After allowing a run in the first inning, the wheels started coming off for De La Rosa in the third, as he allowed three runs on singles from Steven Souza Jr. and Tim Beckham. Things got worse in the fourth as he began the inning by walking the pitcher Chris Archer. Archer then scored on a two-out Steve Pearce double, which was followed by a run scored on a wild pitch and a throwing error from shortstop Trevor Story to make it five runs (three earned) total in the inning. De La Rosa had five quality starts in his previous six tries despite a 5.50 ERA entering Wednesday. His ERA now at 6.07, De La Rosa will look to bounce back against the Orioles next Monday.

De La Rosa (6-6) allowed two runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out two over six innings to earn the win Friday at the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
De La Rosa was provided a 7-0 lead before giving up single runs in the fifth and sixth innings. He's now held opponents to three or fewer earned runs over each of his last six starts to lower his ERA from 8.81 to 5.50 on the year. He'll make his next start Wednesday against the Rays.

De La Rosa (5-4) gave up six hits, an earned run and five walks over six innings in Saturday's 11-6 victory over the D-backs. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
The 35-year-old seems to have left his early-season struggles in the rearview mirror for the time being, with Saturday's effort representing his second straight quality start, and fourth straight solid appearance overall. De La Rosa entered June with a seemingly implausible 10.52 ERA, but has now lowered that figure by over four full runs. He's also rattled off four straight wins, but will be hard-pressed to make it five in a row when he faces off against Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers next Friday.

De La Rosa (4-4) allowed three runs on five hits over six innings to beat the Marlins on Monday, striking out three and walking two.
EDGE Analysis
De La Rosa has been abysmal all season, reaching the six-inning mark just once in seven starts entering this game. The veteran has actually pitched better at Coors Field, but he still makes for a risky play there against the Diamondbacks next time out Saturday.
