Lind is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Because the Mariners will be facing a southpaw, Dae-Ho Lee will start at first base and bat sixth. Lind has continued to struggle at the plate in recent contests, posting a .231/.286/.385 line over the last seven games.

Lind hit a solo home run Sunday for his 17th long ball of the season.
EDGE Analysis
Lind has given the Mariners power this season, but his .232 average is a big disappointment. He's picked it up a bit in the last 11 games, batting .281/.361/.500 with two homers. On a one-year deal, he likely won't be back with the Mariners next season, especially after the team acquired lefty Dan Vogelbach in July. For now, Lind will continue to platoon with Dae-Ho Lee.

Lind is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the A's.
EDGE Analysis
As per usual, Lind will get the night off Friday with the Mariners facing a left-hander in Sean Manaea. Dae-Ho Lee will take over at first base Friday, but Lind could certainly rejoin the lineup Saturday when the Mariners face right-hander Kendall Graveman.

Lind is out of the lineup against the Tigers on Tuesday, Shannon Drayer of MyNorthwest.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lind will get the day off with left-hander Daniel Norris on the mound for Detroit, as Dae-Ho Lee takes over at first. The veteran has has a rough stretch from the plate as of late, only collecting five hits in his last 23 at-bats over his past 10 games, with three of them coming in one game. On the whole, Lind has been having a down year even though his power numbers are decent, only batting .233/.270/.441 with 16 home runs and 45 RBI.

EDGE Analysis
Lind will be on the bench for the third straight game. With southpaw David Price on the mound, he will be replaced by Dae-Ho Lee once again at third base. Lind could return to the lineup Wednesday when the team faces right-hander Rick Porcello.

Lind isn't in the lineup for Sunday's finale against the Cubs, Bob Dutton of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lind will take a seat as the Cubs send the left-handed Brian Matusz to the mound. Dae-Ho Lee will replace him at first base and bat eighth for the Mariners, and could get the start again Monday with Boston southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez scheduled to face Seattle.

Lind is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Lind has played sparingly against left-handers all season, so it should come as little surprise that he will be held out Friday with southpaw Jon Lester on the mound for the Cubs. Dae-Ho Lee will get the start at first base in Lind's place.

Lind is out of the lineup Sunday against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Lind typically sits against left-handed starters, so it's no surprise that he'll find himself on the bench with southpaw J.A. Happ twirling for the Jays. Dae-Ho Lee gets the starting nod at first base in place of LInd.

Lind hit a walk-off pinch-hit three-run home run in Monday's win over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Lind was just 3-for-31 since July 4 with a 1:9 BB:K and desperately needed a hit like this to break out of his slump. He still owns a brutal .230/.262/.440 overall line, however, and he is at best a platoon player, as Dae-Ho Lee (.279/.325/.495) should be expected to get the bulk of starts at first base against left-handed pitching.
