Lind went 2-for-3 with a double, a three-run homer, a walk and two runs Saturday against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Lind's fourth bomb of the campaign pulled the Nats within two runs in the third inning of a road loss. The part-time player is posting an amazing .344/.414/.639 slash line, and is a player to use in leagues with daily lineup moves while he remains on fire.

Lind went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double and two RBI in Sunday's loss to the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
The Nats rested a number of regulars in this one, resulting in Lind getting a rare start in left field. He's been producing no matter where the team puts him, and the veteran slugger now sports a .340/.400/.604 slash line with three homers and 16 RBI in 30 games on the season.

Lind went 1-for-2 with a walk, a double, a run scored and an RBI in Thursday's loss to the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
He got lifted after the sixth inning as part of a double switch, but Lind still made his mark in the rare start. He continues to produce when given the chance and now carries a .341/.400/.636 slash line on the season with three homers and 14 RBI in only 50 plate appearances. With Ryan Zimmerman showing signs of cooling down, the lefty slugger could see an uptick in his playing time, but unless Zimmerman gets hurt Lind remains a season-long fantasy option only in very deep formats.

Lind is batting seventh and playing third base Thursday against the Pirates, Mark Zuckerman of MASNsports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran spells Ryan Zimmerman for the day game against right-handed Tyler Glasnow. The platoon advantage for the lefty-hitting Lind against the wild rookie makes him a mildly intriguing punt play in DFS and a one-day sub in many deep mixed leagues.

Lind pinch hit for Michael Taylor in the eighth inning of Tuesday's extra-inning loss to the Orioles, hitting a three-run home run.
EDGE Analysis
The blast was Lind's third of the season, all three of which have come in pinch hit appearances. The veteran slugger now has a .324/.381/.649 slash line through 42 plate appearances, but playing time will be hard to come by for Lind as long as Ryan Zimmerman is tearing the cover off the ball.

Lind went 2-for-6 with a double, two RBI and a run during Thursday's win over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Lind has been limited to just 29 plate appearances this season, but he's been solid when given an opportunity with a .308/.379/.538 slash line. With the Nationals scoring runs in bunches, Lind is an excellent candidate for daily contests when in the starting lineup. However, he'll need more consistent playing time to become a serviceable option in the majority of seasonal leagues.

Lind is in the Nationals' Thursday lineup against the Rockies, batting fifth and playing first base, Chelsea Janes of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The lefty bat is spelling the scorching-hot Ryan ZImmerman. Facing Rockies right-hander Anthony Senzatela at Coors Field while hitting in the middle of the order, Lind could find sneaky sleeper value in daily fantasy games.

Lind launched a pinch-hit, two-run home run off David Phelps in the seventh inning to plate the go-ahead run in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
His first swing as a National made him an instant fan favorite in the Opening Day victory. The amount of playing time the 33-year-old sees this season will depend primarily on Ryan Zimmerman's health and effectiveness, but Lind's career .364 wOBA against right-handers will make him an intriguing DFS option on the days he does get into the lineup.

Lind is batting .171 (7-for-41) with two doubles and three RBI over 21 spring training games played.
EDGE Analysis
Lind inked a one-year deal with the Nationals this offseason to serve as a left-handed bench bat and backup first baseman. The 33-year-old has seen his offensive numbers dip in each of his past three big league seasons and his slow start to spring is not a very encouraging sign. He'll need to pick things up during the regular season if he hopes to receive semi-regular at-bats for the Nats.

Lind says his struggles at the plate last season came from stubbornly trying to pull the ball through infield shifts rather than going the other way, The Washington Post reports. "He said he's gotten a little pull happy so perhaps we can get him back to the center of the field, the big part of the ballpark," Nationals manager Dusty Baker said Friday.
EDGE Analysis
While Lind did pop 20 or more home runs in 2016 for the sixth time in his career, he also slashed .239/.286/.431 while pulling the ball 39.5 percent of the time, a far cry from his 2014 performance when he hit .321/.381/.479 with a pull rate of just 31.4 percent. Ryan Zimmerman remains the Nats' starter at first base, but his own health issues and declining offense make him far from a sure thing. If Lind can get back to his 2014 form at the plate, he could force his way into a much larger role.
