Lind agreed to a contract with the Nationals on Monday pending a physical, Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
There were earlier reports speculating a deal, and it seems that the reports became true sooner than expected. With this deal, Lind will likely head into spring training with the hopes of providing depth for the Nationals at first base and in the corner outfield spots. He'll likely need to outperform Clint Robinson during spring training to completely claim the spot, but Lind seems to be in line to be a solid lefty bat off of Washington's bench.

Lind is nearing a contract agreement with the Nationals, Jim Bowden of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran first baseman was dealt to the Mariners last year after a productive season in Milwaukee, although a disappointing season in Seattle has sapped the market of any interest for his services. If this deal goes through, Lind would likely compete with Clint Robinson for a spot as Ryan Zimmerman's backup at first base, although it would take a lot for Lind to regain his standing as a fantasy-relevant first baseman.

Lind is not in Sunday's lineup against the A's, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dae-Ho Lee will start at first bast while Lind gets the day off. Although he's hitting just .239/.286/.431 for the year, Lind has seen his production at the plate increase recently. Over the last 30 games, he's put up a .288/.382/.441 line.

Lind had two hits, including a double, in a loss to the A's on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Lind finished a disappointing year hitting .315 in his last 15 games with two homers, three doubles and eight walks in that span. He's given the M's enough power with 20 home runs, but after hitting .291 last season and .354 in 2014 against right-handers, he's struggled this year, batting .239/.287/.442 against righties. One a one-year deal, he likely won't be back with the Mariners next season.

Lind (finger) is in the lineup for Monday's game against Toronto, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lind missed five games with a finger injury before he returned to the lineup Sunday against Houston. He went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts in that game and has been disappointing on the whole this season, with a .233/.279/.440 batting line. Expect him to play a bench role when the Mariners face left-handed pitching down the stretch.

Lind (finger), who has missed the last five games, hopes to play Monday, the Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lind took batting practice for the second straight day Saturday to test his sprained right index finger and felt improvement. Friday's session didn't go well, but he was able to finish Saturday's session.

Lind (finger) took part in a batting-practice session Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Lind tried to hit Friday, but it didn't go as well as he had hoped, so he tried again Saturday with much better results. The first baseman remains day-to-day, according to manager Scott Servais, Dae-Ho Lee started at first base Saturday.

Lind took some soft-toss swings Wednesday and still felt pain in his sprained right finger, the Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lind hasn't played since suffering the injury Sunday. He was expected to be out 3-4 days, but it could take longer for him to get healthy. "It's still really sore," manager Scott Servais said. "It's the vibration from the ball (hitting the bat) and it was only get flipped in there. It's going to be a few days yet. It's when you don't hit a ball just right, when you get it off the end or something like that. It's going to take a while. It's still got a bunch of swelling in there."

Lind (finger) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Dan Vogelbach will get another start at first base Wednesday with Lind still sidelined with a swollen finger that is preventing him from getting a proper grip on a bat. The Mariners are off Thursday, so the next time Lind can be expected to return will be for the series opener against the Astros on Friday.

Lind (finger) is expected to miss 3-4 days due to his sprained finger, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The first baseman's finger is reportedly very swollen right now, so they'll have to wait until he can properly grip a bat before he can return. This would put Lind on track to come back either Wednesday against the Angels or Friday for the series opener against the Astros. Dae-Ho Lee and top prospect Dan Vogelbach will likely fill in for him until he returns.
