Lind is out of the lineup for Thursday's matchup with the Royals, Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lind will take a seat for the second time in the last three days as Nelson Cruz gets the designated hitter spot Thursday. The 32-year-old has provided some power to the Mariners' lineup but is posting his worst batting average (.237 as of this date) since hitting the same number in 2010 with the Blue Jays. Lind could be due for a better second half of the season, and recently accumulated a four-hit night Sunday against Baltimore.

Lind is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
With lefty Dallas Keuchel on the hill for the Astros, Lind will take a seat Tuesday while Dae-Ho Lee takes over at first base and bats fifth in the order. Lind has hit for a better average against lefties (.261) than he has against righties (.241) this season, but he has put up much better power numbers against right-handers with 11 home runs. He figures to rejoin the lineup Wednesday when the Mariners face Mike Fiers.

Lind had four hits Saturday against the Orioles, including two doubles and his 12th home run of the season.
EDGE Analysis
Lind is still plodding along, trying to find the mastery of right-handed pitching he's shown in years past. He has three multi-hit games in his last nine games, however, and his power is still strong -- his .188 ISO is a three-year high. Lind is striking out more this season (22 percent) than usual, and his walks are down considerably at 4.7 percent. If he gets a little luckier on balls in play (.250) and improves his plate discipline a bit, his average could come up in the second half.

Lind is out of the lineup Sunday against the Cardinals, MLB.com's Greg Johns reports.
EDGE Analysis
As per usual, Lind will sit out with a lefty on the mound for the opposition in Jaime Garcia. Even though he's liable to sit out multiple times a week depending on the schedule, Lind is still a useful fantasy option against right-handed pitching. He's produced a .725 OPS versus righties this season.

Lind hit a two-run, walk-off home run Friday for a 4-3 win against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Lind crushed an 88-mph changeup off St. Louis closer Trevor Rosenthal 417 feet for his 11th homer of the season. The left-handed Lind will continue to platoon with Dae-Ho Lee at first base. Lind struggled early this season, but since May 14, he's slugged .594 with an .892 OPS. All 10 of his home runs in that span have come against right-handed pitchers, against whom he has .622 SLG and .924 OPS.

Lind is not in the lineup for Thursday's matchup with the Tigers, Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dae-Ho Lee will get the start on Thursday instead of Lind with southpaw pitcher Daniel Norris on the mound. Expect Lind to start again on Friday when right-hander Carlos Martinez starts for the Cardinals.

Lind hit his 10th home run, a two run shot, in a 3-for-6 game Monday against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Lind's .277 on-base percentage is nearly 100 points below his mark over the past three seasons, but the power has been there as Lind now has his second consecutive season with double digit home runs. Nine of those 10 home runs have come against right-handed pitching, and Lind has struck out in eight of his 20 plate appearances against southpaws this year, so don't expect his platoon with Dae-Ho Lee to end any time soon.

Lind is out of the lineup Sunday against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Lind is sitting out for the fourth time in five games with the opposition bringing a left-handed starter to the hill. He remains in a strict platoon with Dae-Ho Lee, but should see the bulk of the starts at first base with the majority of the league's starters being right-handed.

Lind is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Dae-Ho Lee will take over at first base with a lefty in Roenis Elias due up for Boston, as is almost always the case when the Mariners face a southpaw. Lind has made one start against a left-hander this season.

Lind is out of the lineup for Thursday's matchup with the Rays, Rays Baseball broadcaster Neil Solondz reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lind will give way to righty hitter Dae-Ho Lee with southpaw pitcher Blake Snell on the mound. Lee will start at first, and bat fifth.
