The Boston Red Sox announced on Wednesday afternoon that they have released veteran first baseman Adam Lind. Lind had not appeared in the majors in 2018 and put up mediocre numbers in Triple-A. Lind had some great seasons in his career and may wind up with another organization, but his days of fantasy relevancy seem to be over.
