Worley is expected to move to the bullpen will Dillon Peters on tap for a promotion from Double-A Jacksonville to start Friday's game against the Phillies, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
A surprising second-half surge has thrust the Marlins into the National League wild-card picture, and with Worley proving to be an ineffective fifth starter, the team will give Peters a look at least temporarily to see if he can provide an upgrade at the back end of the rotation. After conceding just one run in 13 innings during his first two outings of August, Worley regressed mightily to close out the month, delivering a 9.17 ERA and 2.15 WHIP while failing to escape the sixth inning in any of his last four turns. He'll now presumably be ticketed for low-leverage mop-up duty in relief throughout September.

Worley (2-4) took the loss against the Nationals on Tuesday, coughing up five runs on nine hits and three walks over 4.1 innings while striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander now has a brutal 9.17 ERA, 2.15 WHIP and 8:9 K:BB over his last four starts. If Worley remains in the rotation after rosters expand in September, he would next take the mound Sunday at home against the Phillies.

Worley will start Tuesday's game against the Nationals, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
There was some speculation on whether Worley would remain in the starting rotation after getting pounded for eight runs over four innings his last time out, but the Marlins will ultimately hand him the ball for another start. In six starts (30.1 innings) since rejoining the Marlins' rotation at the end of July, Worley has compiled an unremarkable 5.04 ERA and 14:11 K:BB. Things won't get any easier for the 29-year-old as he faces a Washington team that's responsible for the second most runs scored in the majors this season.

Worley allowed eight runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out three batters across four innings Thursday against the Phillies. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Worley was pummeled Thursday, but a late surge from the Marlins' offense got him off the hook for the loss. He now owns an unimpressive 5.04 ERA and 14:11 K:BB through six starts for the Marlins since rejoining the rotation at the end of July. Things won't get any easier for Worley as his next scheduled start comes against the Nationals on Wednesday.

Worley (2-3) allowed two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out two batters through 5.1 innings during Saturday's loss to the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Worley has now made five consecutive starts and posted a 3.08 ERA and 1.22 WHIP with two wins. Unfortunately, he's only struck out 11 batters and pitched just 26.1 innings during that span. Still, his current form makes him a serviceable option in cavernous leagues, and he's worth considering as a streamer in the right matchups in all setups. Worley lines up to face the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park in his next start.

Worley allowed three runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out one through four innings of work Sunday against the Rockies. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
After tossing a pair of quality starts in his previous two outings, Worley failed to make it out of the fifth inning Sunday. He still owns an impressive 2.12 ERA through three starts (17 innings) this month, but his 6:5 K:BB over that same span isn't doing much for fantasy owners. He'll make his next start Saturday against the Mets.

Worley (2-2) tossed six innings of one-run ball in Tuesday's win over the Nationals, allowing six hits with three walks and two strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Worley was sharp in this one, tossing 64 percent of his pitches for strikes and inducing seven groundball outs. He was only scored upon by an RBI groundout following a Brian Goodwin extra-base hit in the third inning , but his teammates built him a comfortable lead before he completed the sixth. It was Worley's second straight quality start, giving him 13 one-run innings over that span to lower his ERA to 4.82. He has hit his stride of late and will look to keep it going Sunday against the Rockies.

Worley (1-2) pitched seven scoreless innings with just two hits allowed while striking out three batters during Wednesday's win over Washington.
EDGE Analysis
This was just the sixth start of the season for Worley, and he allowed three runs through just four innings in his last outing July 28 against the Reds. The veteran also sports an underwhelming 5.31 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 7.1 K/9 for the season, so he's far from a go-to virtual asset. However, shutting down the Nationals is an encouraging showing, and Worley projects to start consistently moving forward. That alone, warrants attention in cavernous fantasy settings. He projects to face Washington again in his next start, though, and this game will be at Nationals Park. It's probably not an ideal setup for Worley.

Worley gave up three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out three over four innings in Friday's 7-4 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
He was able to throw 70 pitches (41 strikes) in his longest big-league outing since late May, although he wasn't overly effective. Worley will likely get another turn or two in the rotation, but he'll be a very risky fantasy play in his next start Wednesday at home against the dangerous Nationals.

Worley will get the start for Friday's game against the Reds, Tim Healey of the Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Worley takes the place of Tom Koehler, who was demoted to Triple-A New Orleans after another rocky start during Sunday's loss. This marks Worley's fifth start of the season, and his first since June 9, when he allowed four runs in 3.2 innings. The right-hander has served in a limited role out of the bullpen lately, with his latest appearance coming Tuesday against the Rangers. Throughout the course of the 2017 campaign, Worley has posted a 6.37 ERA and 1.65 WHIP over 29.2 innings.
