Worley allowed three runs on five hits in two innings in Thursday's Grapefruit League game against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Worley remains on the outside looking in on a roster spot this spring following the Yovani Gallardo signing. He threw two scoreless his first time out, but he struggled Thursday, allowing a home run and two doubles.

Worley could suffer from a roster crunch if the Orioles sign Yovani Gallardo or another starter, MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Worley is the leading candidate for the fifth starter role at this point in time, but the signing of Gallardo would all but shore up all the rotation spots. Worley could fill a long relief spot if that is the case, but there is plenty of competition for just one bullpen spot. Worley is out of options and he may opt to look for an MLB job rather than accept an assignment to Triple-A. Worley's fastball velocity averaged less than 89 mph in 2015 as his K/9 rate dropped to 6.1 K/9.

Worley signed a one-year, $2.6 million contract with the Orioles on Wednesday to avoid arbitration, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Ray Searage magic ran out for Worley in 2015, as he turned in a 4.81 ERA and 1.65 WHIP in eight starts for Pittsburgh to begin the year and was promptly removed from the rotation. He spent the rest of the season between Triple-A and the bullpen, and the Orioles ultimately grabbed him off waivers in October, giving them an insurance policy for the rotation heading into spring training.

Worley was claimed off waivers by the Orioles on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
In 110 innings with the Pirates during 2014, Worley was masterful, recording a 2.85 ERA and 1.29 WHIP to go along with a 79:22 K:BB. 2015 was...a different story. Worley began the season in the starting rotation due to an injury to Charlie Morton, but found his way onto Triple-A Indianapolis midway through the season. Worley could be an interesting name to follow if he regains his 2014 form as the Orioles only had one pitcher throw 100+ innings and post an ERA under 4.00 in 2015, but no official announcement regarding his usage will come until later in the season.

The Pirates called up Worley from Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Worley till take the roster spot of Radhames Liz and join the Pirates' bullpen. He started eight games for the Pirates earlier this season, but the Pirates already have six potential starters on the roster, so he will likely be used only in relief.

Worley allowed only two earned runs in eight Triple-A innings Saturday, giving him a 2.38 ERA in 34 IP for Indianapolis.
EDGE Analysis
Look for the Bucs to spot-start Worley in September, especially once the team's playoff positioning is settled. He could be used to give starters Gerrit Cole or Francisco Liriano some extra time off.

Worley threw three scoreless relief innings Thursday, limiting the Reds to two hits and a walk while striking out two batters. As a long man he doesn't offer much fantasy value, but he's allowed just three runs in his last eight appearances covering 21.1 innings. After a terrible start to 2015, Worley overall numbers -- 3.40 ERA and 1.37 WHIP -- are rounding into shape.

Worley hurled four scoreless relief innings Sunday, allowing five hits and no walks while striking out four. It's possible the Pirates replace an ineffective Jeff Locke with Worley in the rotation. Since his first appearance in early April, Worley has posted a 2.88 ERA in 40.2 frames while Locke has a 6.48 ERA in his last 41.2 innings.

Worley will remain in the the bullpen "for now," according to manager Clint Hurdle, Rob Biertempfel of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports. Worley made his first relief appearance of the year Tuesday, tossing two scoreless, no-hit innings to bring his ERA and WHIP down to 4.17 and 1.54, respectively. He will likely stick in the bullpen at least through the weekend, though the team will need to make room on the active roster for Charlie Morton (hip) on Monday and Worley may be among the candidates to lose his spot.
