Koehler will start against the Brewers on Saturday, Andrew Gruman of MyCommunityNow reports.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler was scratched from his start at Triple-A New Orleans on Thursday and is set to make his first major-league start since May 16. He hasn't been able to last long during his eight starts with the Marlins this year, including a disastrous effort against the Astros during his last time out (eight earned runs off seven hits and four walks in three innings). The team will announce a corresponding move following Friday's game.

Koehler was scratched from his Thursday start at Triple-A New Orleans and likely will start for the Marlins on Saturday in Milwaukee, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander carries a brutal 7.04 ERA in eight major-league starts and is an option merely designed to eat innings. Koehler's expected assignment presents a fine opportunity to stream Brewers hitters.

Koehler (shoulder) was activated from the 10-day disabled list Wednesday and optioned to Triple-A New Orleans, Joe Capozzi of The Palm Beach Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler showed no ill effects from the sore shoulder over two rehab starts with New Orleans, during which he covered seven innings and gave up four runs while striking out 13 batters. While the Marlins rotation is lacking in quality depth, it doesn't appear Koehler is viewed as a solution to the team's starting pitching woes after he posted a 7.04 ERA and 1.64 WHIP over 38.1 innings with the big club prior to landing on the DL. Vance Worley is expected to stick around as the Marlins' fifth starter for the time being.

Koehler (shoulder) will start for High-A Jupiter on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
This may be the only practice outing required for the right-hander, though whenever he does resurface, he could either wind up in the big-league bullpen or head to Triple-A New Orleans to serve as organizational depth. His ugly 7.04 ERA and 1.64 WHIP with the Marlins give him a heavier burden to convince them he's worthy of rejoining the rotation.

Koehler (shoulder) tossed a bullpen session Thursday and is expected to begin a rehab assignment at High-A Jupiter over the weekend, the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Even before being diagnosed with right shoulder bursitis and hitting the disabled list two weeks earlier, Koehler was on the outs for a rotation spot, so he may stick around at Triple-A New Orleans once his rehab assignment concludes. The right-hander has compiled a 7.04 ERA and 1.64 WHIP in 38.1 innings this season.

Koehler was placed on the 10-day disabled list with right shoulder bursitis, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Koehler was originally optioned to Triple-A New Orleans earlier in the week, he'll remain with the big club for the time being as he works his way back from the shoulder ailment on the DL. Given he struggled to a 7.04 ERA and 1.64 WHIP across 38.1 innings (eight starts) with the Marlins this season, his assignment to New Orleans remains likely once he is activated. Koehler could rejoin the sometime Marlins over summer if he is able to rebound well once he returns to full health.

Koehler was optioned to Triple-A New Orleans on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler entered Tuesday's game against the Astros with a 5.60 ERA and exited with a 7.04 ERA. The right-handed hurler allowed eight runs on seven hits and four walks over three disastrous innings. The 30-year-old had already been treading on thin ice in the Marlins' rotation and Tuesday's performance was apparently enough to earn him a demotion to the minor leagues. He'll look to straighten things out in New Orleans with his sights set on rejoining the big-league club for the stretch run of summer.

Koehler allowed four runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five batters over 5.1 innings during Wednesday's loss to St. Louis. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
The righty has allowed at least three runs in each of his past six starts, so Wednesday's outing was just more of the same from Koehler. However, it's worth noting that he didn't allow a home run for the first time all season, and the long ball has been a problem with Koehler's 2.29 HR/9 ranking third worst in the league among qualified starters. A start against the Astros is up next for Koehler.

Koehler (1-1) gave up three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out three over five innings and came away with a no-decision in Friday's loss to the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
He seemed on track for his second win of the season after exiting the game with a 7-3 lead, but Brad Ziegler and the Marlins' bullpen imploded in the seventh inning. Koehler has now allowed at least three runs in five straight starts, saddling him with a 5.40 ERA and 1,50 WHIP, but his spot in the rotation doesn't seem to be in jeopardy given Miami's lack of other options. The 30-year-old righty will next take the mound Wednesday at home against the Cardinals.

Koehler allowed three runs on six hits and a walk across four innings Sunday in a no-decision against the Pirates. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler surrendered all three runs on his ledger in the first inning thanks to four hits, including a two-run homer by Josh Bell. He settled down and allowed just three men to reach base over his next three innings but was removed with a relatively high pitch count after four. Koehler has only allowed more than three runs once this season, but his inability to go deep into games has resulted in a 5.40 ERA. He will look to cut down on that figure Friday against the Mets.
