Koehler's next start has been pushed up to Sunday at home against the White Sox, the Miami Herald's Andre Fernandez reports.
EDGE Analysis
The move was made possible by Thursday's off day, and is presumably intended to give Jose Fernandez an extra day of rest, although Fernandez's next start has not been confirmed. Koehler has a 3.23 ERA at home and 4.29 ERA on the road, so this is a boon for his fantasy owners, as he'll face the White Sox at home instead of the Reds on the road.

Koehler (9-8) was masterful Tuesday, blanking the Giants over seven innings, allowing just a pair of singles. He struck out six, walked two, and earned the win.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler has been phenomenal over his past four starts, allowing just two earned runs and 12 hits over 27 innings while going 3-0. While not a huge strikeout pitcher, punching out 102 over 127 innings on the year, Koehler has lowered his ERA to a solid 3.83. He'll look to keep things rolling in Cincinnati on Monday.

Koehler allowed just one run on five hits, struck out seven and walked one in a no-decision against the Cubs on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old has really found his groove lately. He has allowed two earned runs in his last 20 innings (0.90 ERA), as he's seen his season ERA drop over half a run since July 21. He left with a lead, but unfortunately, the Cubs rallied to give Koehler a no-decision. His improved control has been a source of his improvement. In May, he walked 24 batters, but in June and July, Koehler allowed just 12 and seven free passes, respectively. Overall, he's 8-8 with a 4.05 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 96 strikeouts in 120.0 innings. His next start will be Tuesday versus San Francisco.

Koehler (8-8) tossed six shutout innings, allowed just three hits and a walk, and struck out five in a win Tuesday over Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler's last start also came against the Phillies, and he has enjoyed the easy schedule, reeling off 14 innings and allowing just five hits and one earned run with a 10:2 K:BB. It's back to reality for Koehler and his 4.18 ERA in his next start, which comes Sunday against the Cardinals.

Koehler (7-8) tossed eight innings, allowing three runs (one earned) on two hits and one walk while striking out five in Thursdays win against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
The only two hits Koehler allowed were both home runs, one of which (Ryan Howard's fourth-inning two-run blast) was the result of an error that extended the frame. Thursday marked the fourth start this season in which Koehler limited his opponent to just two hits, and the second time he has done it against the Phillies. Inconsistency has been the problem for the 30-year-old right-hander in 2016, but he's shown the stuff that makes him an attractive arm in a majority of leagues.

Koehler (6-8) allowed four runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out four over four innings to take the loss Saturday at the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
After making it through two scoreless innings, Koehler was rocked for four runs in the third inning, leading to his eighth loss of the season. He's now failed to get past the fourth inning in three of his last four starts, and his ERA has risen to 4.68 on the year. He'll make his next start Thursday at the Phillies.

Koehler (6-7) gave up three runs on seven hits and a walk over just four innings Sunday, striking out two, and came away with a no-decision in a 7-3 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
The Marlins were actually down 3-2 when he was lifted for a pinch hitter, but a Giancarlo Stanton homer in the fifth got Koehler off the hook for the loss. The righty's 4.50 ERA and 1.56 WHIP are mediocre at best, but the Marlins don't have many other options for their rotation right now so expect him to keep his starting spot barring some big roster changes at the trade deadline.

Koehler allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk over five innings in a no-decision Monday against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler hasn't recorded a quality start since recording five straight from May 29 through June 19. He left with the lead Monday, but unfortunately, his bullpen couldn't hold it down for him, and he remains winless in his past three outings. Koehler had that lead in large part because he had his control Monday, but it hasn't been consistent for him this season -- he has walked 48 batters in just 92 innings (4.7 BB/9).

Koehler (6-7) lasted just three innings in Wednesday's loss to the Tigers. He allowed five runs on eight hits while walking one and striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
For the second straight start, Koehler has been roughed up in the first inning. In both starts, the right-hander has allowed four runs in the opening frame. Detroit sent nine to the plate on Wednesday in a 46-pitch first inning. The first six batters reached, and Koehler's first out came on his 33rd pitch. In his previous start, on June 24 in a no-decision against the Cubs, he also gave up four in the first inning. Koehler's ERA in the first has now risen to 7.31 in 16 starts. And eight of his 13 earned runs allowed in the inning have come in his last two starts. Koehler had won three straight, and was coming off five starts in which he lasted six innings each time, but Wednesday the Tigers had his number from the start.

Koehler allowed four runs on seven hits and two walks over six innings with six strikeouts while picking up a no-decision in Friday's loss to the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Both Koehler and opposing starter Kyle Hendricks allowed four runs in the first inning and then threw up zeros after that. Koehler departed with the game tied but the Marlins' bullpen quickly let the game slip away. The outing snapped a streak of five straight quality starts from the right-hander and left him with a 4.07 ERA and 1.49 WHIP over 84 innings pitched this season. Despite the so-so outing Friday, Koehler been quietly solid over his last 10 starts, registering a cool 2.92 ERA but with a passable 1.33 WHIP and will look to get back on track Thursday in Atlanta.
