Koehler is available from the bullpen Monday and won't start Tuesday against the Red Sox, Mike Wilner of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler had been scheduled to start Tuesday, but the club has decided to send Brett Anderson to the hill instead. At this point in time, it's unclear when Koehler will make his next start for the Blue Jays. Koehler's performance this season has been underwhelming, as his 7.42 ERA and 1.70 WHIP are both career-high marks.

Koehler (0-1) took the loss to the Rays on Thursday, allowing one run on four hits and three walks while striking out seven over five innings. He also hit two batters.
EDGE Analysis
While it was a loss against one of the American League's coldest offenses, this was still a largely successful debut for Koehler, who was traded from Miami less than a week ago. He was roughed up to the tune of a 7.92 ERA and 1.72 WHIP during his time with the Marlins. Those in AL-only formats in need of pitching help may want to consider adding Koehler, but he will make for an extremely risky play next week with matchups versus Boston and at Baltimore on tap.

The Blue Jays recalled Koehler from Triple-A Buffalo ahead of his Thursday start against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
The Jays acquired the right-hander Saturday for organizational depth. Koehler has leaked runs once again, accruing a 7.92 ERA and 1.72 WHIP in his 55.2 frames with the Marlins, though there's a good chance he'll keep this last-minute, innings-eating role over the balance of the season when Toronto needs him. Toronto demoted Chris Rowley to the Bisons to clear the roster space.

Koehler is set to get his first start with the Blue Jays on Thursday against Tampa Bay, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler was recently acquired by Toronto in exchange for minor-league pitcher Osman Gutierrez on Saturday. The 31-year-old hasn't been that sharp on the mound this year -- posting a 7.92 ERA and 1.72 WHIP over 55.2 innings with Miami -- but the Blue Jays will grant him an opportunity versus a division rival as he prepares for a start at the big-league level for the first time since July 23. This move pushes JA Happ's next start to Friday and leaves Nick Tepesch (paternity) in limbo for what his role looks like moving forward.

The Marlins traded Koehler to the Blue Jays on Saturday in exchange for minor-league pitcher Osman Gutierrez, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler struggled to a 7.92 ERA and 1.73 WHIP in 12 starts for the Marlins this season, but he's fared quite well at Triple-A, and the Blue Jays were in desperate need of starting pitching depth. An immediate promotion may not be in the cards, but Koehler should get the call when roster expand in September, possibly to unseat Nick Tepesch or Chris Rowley at the back end of the rotation.

Koehler was optioned to Triple-A New Orleans on Monday, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler has been awful in 12 starts with the big-league club this season, sporting a 7.92 ERA and a 44:29 K:BB in 55.2 innings pitched. He'll head back to the minors for further development now that he's unavailable to pitch for a few days, although he may not be there long given how much success he's had with the Baby Cakes this season. Hunter Cervenka will replace him on the active roster.

Koehler (1-5) allowed six runs (five earned) on nine hits and two walks across 5.2 innings in Sunday's loss to the Reds. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler allowed one run through the first three innings before a solo home run in the fourth and a two-run rally in the fifth put him further behind. He attempted to solider through the sixth, but a pair of solo home runs and another base hit chased him from the game with two outs. Koehler has endured a miserable run of form since returning from an injury at the start of the month, posting a 9.87 ERA across 17.1 innings over four starts. His mark for the season sits at 7.92 heading into a home rematch with Cincinnati on Friday.

Koehler allowed four runs on four hits and three walks while striking out just two batters through five innings during Monday's win over Philadelphia. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler was derailed by a shoulder injury earlier this season and also spent some time in the minors, so it's been a disappointing campaign for the 31-year-old righty. With a 7.92 ERA and 1.70 WHIP, it's impossible to trust him outside of the softest matchups, and he's probably off the fantasy radar in the majority of settings. Koehler projects to face the Reds at Great American Ball Park in his next start.

Koehler gave up three runs on four hits and three walks while striking out seven over five innings Thursday against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
He was able to lower his ERA from 8.33 to 8.00 and the seven strikeouts tied a season high, but other than that, it's hard to take any positives away from the righty's final start of the first half. If the Marlins had a better option, Koehler would likely be on the outs, but it is unclear when they will be able to upgrade the fifth spot in the rotation.

Koehler (1-3 ) lasted just 1.2 innings during Saturday's loss to the Brewers, allowing seven runs (three earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler fell apart in the second inning after breezing through the first frame in just nine pitches. He has now given up seven or more runs in two straight starts, raising his ERA to a brutal 7.43 across eight starts (40 innings) on the season. It's unclear if he'll be afforded another start given his ineffectiveness this season, but if he is, he'd likely face the Cardinals on Thursday.
