Roy Halladay could have his next start pushed back from Tuesday to Wednesday due to illness. Tyler Cloyd could move up a day to start in Doc's place. If Halladay is pushed back, it would mean he wouldn't get two starts in the upcoming week. Fantasy owners shouldn't be counting on him, anyway, given his reduced velocity and numbers since coming off the DL (4.23 ERA, 8/9 K/BB ratio over 17 innings).

Roy Halladay allowed one run over six innings in a no-decision against the Nationals on Wednesday. Halladay's rebound performance was much-needed after surrendering five runs his last time out. The right-hander was stingy in limiting the Nats to just three hits, but he also walked five on the night. The start was indicative of just how good Halladay can be even in his diminished state, but it's still hard to trust him on a start-by-start basis. His next matchup is pitcher-friendly, though, as he takes on the Padres on Wednesday.

Roy Halladay gave up five runs and two homers over five innings Friday in a no-decision against the Cubs. Halladay turned in a quality start in his return outing Monday, but that came against a decimated and fatigued Diamondbacks lineup. He doesn't have the stuff of a generic major league starter right now, much less that of the Halladay of old. Proceed at your own risk.

In his return to the mound, Roy Halladay yielded two runs over six innings in a win against the Diamondbacks. He struck out two, walked two and scattered four hits. The veteran righty underwent shoulder surgery in mid-May with a 2-4 record and 8.65 ERA. Halladay looked good after a lengthy layoff today and has a nice matchup on deck in Chicago against the Cubs, so owners should make sure he's active in the vast majority of formats.

Roy Halladay (shoulder) will be activated from the disabled list to start Sunday against the Diamondbacks. Tyler Cloyd had been slated to start, but he was needed in Saturday's 18-inning marathon. Halladay was scheduled to make a minor league rehab start with Double-A Reading on Sunday, but the Phillies have decided to let him make an early return to the big club. Doc went six innings in each of his two rehab starts, so he shouldn't really be limited from a pitch count standpoint.

Roy Halladay could start for the Phillies in Sunday's series finale against the Diamondbacks. Halladay was scheduled to make a minor league rehab start with Double-A Reading on Sunday, but with Sunday's expected starter Tyler Cloyd forced into action in Saturday's game, the Phillies will need someone to fill-in. He struggled in his first rehab start at Low-A Lakewood on Tuesday, but they may not have another option.

Roy Halladay (shoulder) will make his next rehab start on Sunday with Double-A Reading. The Phillies are bumping Halladay up a level despite his poor performance in a rehab outing Tuesday night at Low-A Lakewood. The veteran right-hander does not appear ready for major league competition and probably isn't worth stashing in standard fantasy leagues.

Roy Halladay (shoulder) allowed two runs (one earned) over six innings Tuesday in a rehab start with Class A Lakewood. Halladay gave up seven hits and three walks while striking out four. He threw 52 out of 90 pitches for strikes and topped out at 89 mph on the radar gun. Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro previously said that Halladay could be ready to come off the disabled list after just two rehab starts, but it's unclear what the next step will be. "I feel good," said Halladay. "I haven't had a lot of soreness the day after I pitch. I really think things are coming along well. I wanted to throw 100 pitches, but they had me scheduled for 90. When I get back is not in my control. It's their call, but I'm confident." The veteran right-hander is currently making his way back from shoulder surgery.

Roy Halladay (shoulder) allowed three earned runs over six innings Thursday in his rehab debut. Pitching for the Phillies' affiliate in the Gulf Coast League, the veteran right-hander tossed a total of 87 pitches, yielding six hits and three walks while fanning four. It's possible that Halladay will be allowed to rejoin the Phillies after just one more rehab start. He has been out since undergoing shoulder surgery in mid-May.

Roy Halladay (shoulder) will begin a minor league assignment Thursday with the Phillies' Gulf Coast league affiliate. Halladay was cleared after he made it through a five-inning simulated game over the weekend. The veteran right-hander hasn't had any setbacks since shoulder surgery in May and could be back after two rehab starts if all goes well. It might be time to stash him in deeper mixed fantasy leagues.
