Bourjos is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bourjos has regularly seen starts against left-handed pitching this season, but he'll surprisingly be left on the bench Sunday, despite southpaw Drew Pomeranz taking the mound for the Red Sox. In place of Bourjos, Corey Dickerson will move over from his usual DH spot to cover left field.

Bourjos went 1-for-3 with a solo home run during Thursday's loss to the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Bourjos wasn't even in the starting lineup and has just 12 plate appearances for the season. He entered the game following Mallex Smith's exit due to hamstring tightness, and the veteran could be in line for an uptick in playing time if Smith is forced to miss time. Additional at-bats would provide a fleeting value boost for Bourjos, but he's more of an AL-only flier than a target in mixed leagues, especially since he hasn't been a threat to pile up the stolen bases since early in his career.

Bourjos earned a spot on the Opening Day roster Saturday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Just days after being sent over from the White Sox for cash considerations, Bourjos clearly flashed enough for the Rays to be comfortable with carrying him on the 25-man roster. Bourjos may not possess the base stealing capability he did earlier in his career, but he's still a strong defender in the outfield that will add value off the bench. For fantasy purposes, it's unlikely that Bourjos will get enough at-bats to be worth carrying in most formats, however.

Bourjos went 3-for-5 with three RBI from a run-scoring single and two-run home run in Wednesday's 15-6 Cactus League win over the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Just officially acquired from the White Sox on Monday, Bourjos also made a leaping catch in center field in addition to his impressive exploits at the plate, as per Roger Mooney of the Tampa Bay Times. The veteran is on a minor-league deal but has a chance to fill the Rays' need for a right-handed hitting outfielder.

The Rays are in trade talks to acquire Bourjos, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The White Sox have a promising young outfielder in Jacob May, and a groin injury to Colby Rasmus leaves the Rays in need of another body early in the season. Bourjos is one of the fastest players in the league and is a plus defender at all three outfield positions, so the Rays can find a use for him despite his brutal .232/.292/.362 batting line over the past three seasons. If the deal comes to pass, an announcement is expected sometime Tuesday.

Bourjos is hitting .333/.348/.556 in 45 spring at-bats.
EDGE Analysis
The battle to become the White Sox's starting center fielder Opening Day is coming down to the final week of camp. Bourjos and Jacob May are left standing. Both have hit well, so it may come down to whether manager Rick Renteria can trust May, a career minor league with 301 at-bats at Triple-A, to be an everyday center fielder and leadoff batter.

Bourjos, a non-roster invitee to White Sox training camp, could be the team's starting center fielder after it was announced that Charlie Tilson (foot) will open the season on the disabled list, JJ Stankevitz of CSN Chicago reports. The 29-year-old outfielder has 10 hits in 27 spring at-bats.
EDGE Analysis
The White Sox have a couple of spots available on the 40-man roster, one of which is expected to go to catcher Geovany Soto, so there's room for Bourjos. Chicago manager Rick Renteria lumps him in with Adam Engel and Jacob May as Tilson's potential replacement, but Bourjos' seven seasons of MLB experience and above-average defense may give him the edge on his less-seasoned competition. The downside to Bourjos is his sketchy on-base ability. He hasn't drawn a walk during spring games and has posted an OBP below .300 in each of the previous three years.

Bourjos tripled for the second straight day in Saturday's game against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Bourjos has been quite active for the White Sox early in training camp, having played in seven of the team's first eight spring games. He's 6-for-13 with five runs scored and three extra-base hits. While we wait on Charlie Tilson, the preferred starter in center field who has missed time due to a foot injury, Bourjos is grabbing our attention.

Bourjos, a non-roster invitee, will get an increased opportunity in center field after Charlie Tilson suffered a foot injury, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tilson's foot injury will keep him out of action for at least 10 days, putting the 29-year-old Bourjos in position to earn a roster spot. The White Sox prefer Tilson be the starter, but he's battled injuries ever since getting a shot in Chicago's outfield last season.

Bourjos signed a minor league contract with the White Sox on Friday that includes an invitation to spring training, Colleen Kane of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bourjos had one hot month in 2016 which helped fuel an overall rebound in terms of offensive numbers. However, his defense (once his calling card) has slipped in recent seasons, to the point where's barely above a replacement level in terms of overall performance. It's possible Bourjos, who will be 30 on Opening Day, could make the Opening Day roster, but a starting role seems unlikely.
