Bourjos inked a minor-league contract with the Giants on Friday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bourjos elected to become a free agent July 2 after the Braves designated him for assignment. He put together an uninspiring .205/.239/.365 batting line with one homer and four RBI through 36 games with Atlanta, and he's expected to report to Triple-A Sacramento after signing with San Francisco.

Bourjos chose to become a free agent Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Bourjos was designated for assignment Saturday, but instead of heading to Triple-A Gwinnett, he'll hit the open market in search of a new team. In 36 games for Atlanta in 2018, he hit .205 with one home run and four RBI.

Bourjos was designated for assignment on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
He managed just a .205/.239/.364 slash line in 47 plate appearances with the Braves this season. Assuming he passes through waivers, he should continue to serve as organizational depth at Triple-A Gwinnett.

Bourjos got the start in right field and hit ninth in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Blue Jays, going 1-for-3 with a solo home run.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran outfielder has been used sparingly by the Braves since being called back up to the majors at the end of May, but Bourjos capitalized on his first start since June 6 by smacking his first homer of the year. His .195/.233/.366 slash line on the season isn't going to earn him more frequent playing time, however.

The Braves selected the contract of Bourjos from Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Bourjos had a brief stint (3-for-27 over 18 games) with Atlanta earlier this season before being designated for assignment and subsequently released at the end of April. The veteran outfielder re-signed on a minor-league deal a few days later and should once again serve as outfield depth for the Braves.

EDGE Analysis
Bourjos was released by the Braves on Sunday, but will return to the club on a minor-league deal. He figures to provide organizational depth for the club, as he went 3-for-27 (.120) over 18 games with Atlanta prior to being released.

Bourjos was designated for assignment by the Braves on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
In a corresponding move, the club officially recalled top prospect Ronald Acuna from Triple-A Gwinnett prior to Wednesday's game in Cincinnati. Over 18 appearances with the Braves this year, Bourjos was just 3-for-25 with one extra-base hit and two RBI and failed to earn regular playing time in the outfield. He will report to Gwinnett unless claimed by another organization off waivers in the coming days.

Bourjos is expected to platoon with Preston Tucker in left field to open the season, Kevin McAlpin of 680 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker will serve as the team's primary left fielder until prospect Ronald Acuna is called up to the big club, with Bourjos seeing starts primarily against left-handed pitchers. He isn't expected to see enough playing time to be worth rostering.

Bourjos (calf) signed a major-league contract with the Braves on Sunday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bourjos was cut loose by the Cubs on Friday after suffering a left calf cramp, although he has already passed his physical for the Braves. The 30-year-old should be okay for Opening Day and is likely to serve as a depth outfielder for Atlanta, and posted a .223/.272/.383 slash line with five home runs in 203 plate appearances with Tampa Bay last season.
