Bourjos (shoulder) was activated from the DL on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
While Bourjos is back with the team, it's expected that he'll be sharing time in the outfield with Aaron Altherr. Bourjos is posting a weak .230 batting average against righties, but is hitting .319 against lefties, so the Phillies may opt to include Bourjos in the lineup when they face a southpaw.

Bourjos (shoulder) could rejoin the Phillies as early as Friday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bourjos has been sidelined since late July with a sprained right shoulder. He will be returning to a reduced role with the Phillies focused on giving Aaron Altherr regular playing time in right field for the rest of the season.

Bourjos (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Lehigh Velley on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Bourjos has been out since late July with a sprained shoulder but that time off helped him recuperate and he's now set to begin a rehab assignment. The 29-year-old will likely play in a handful of games for the Phillies Triple-A affiliate before being activated off the DL once eligible on Aug. 12.

Bourjos was placed on the 15-day DL with a right shoulder sprain Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
This is a tough break for the Bourjos who has been scorching hot over his last 40 games, hitting .316/.357/.496 with three home runs, 11 RBI and 22 runs. The 29-year-old will focus on rehabbing his shoulder while outfielder Aaron Altherr is activated from the 60-day DL in a corresponding move. In addition to Altherr, it is likely that Tyler Goeddel and Jimmy Paredes see more playing time in his absence.

Bourjos (shoulder) is likely headed to the disabled list, CSN Philly's Jim Salisbury reports.
EDGE Analysis
He injured his right shoulder running into the outfield wall while making a catch Tuesday. Bourjos sounded pessimistic when asked Wednesday if he would avoid a trip to the DL, indicating that he has some range of motion issues. With Aaron Altherr's rehab stint expiring Wednesday, Altherr's activation would be a natural corresponding move if Bourjos is placed on the DL Thursday. If that is indeed how things transpire, Altherr would figure to get the bulk of the at-bats while Bourjos is out.

Bourjos (shoulder) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's matchup with the Marlins, Megham Montemurro of the News Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bourjos left Tuesday's game due to a jammed right shoulder. He said he hopes to need just a few days off before he can return to the lineup without problems, so this is no surprise that he is out today. Replacing him in the outfield is Jimmy Paredes, who is also batting ninth.

Bourjos had an X-ray on his shoulder Tuesday which came back negative, Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bourjos left Tuesday's game with a jammed right shoulder in the first inning after making a running catch and hitting his shoulder against the wall. He said he hopes to need just a few days off before he can return to the lineup. Bourjos may not come back to a full-time role as Aaron Altherr is expected to come off the DL Thursday and the Phillies will want to give him regular playing time over the remainder of the season.
