Bourjos will start in left field and lead off Wednesday against the Blue Jays, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
With southpaw Francisco Liriano on the hill for the opposition, the lefty-hitting Mallex Smith, who had led off in the previous two contests, will move down to sixth in the order, allowing Bourjos to settle into the table-setting role. While it's a favorable lineup spot for Bourjos, the veteran has turned in sub-.300 on-base percentages in each of the last four seasons and shouldn't be counted on to make much of an impact in DFS contests.

Bourjos (elbow) went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs in Thursday's 7-5 in over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran outfielder did damage out of the nine-hole in his first game back from a disabled list stint due to an elbow injury, blasting a 422-foot shot to left in the fourth that gave the Rays a 6-0 lead at the time. Bourjos' .217 average has plenty of room for improvement, but he's able to contribute the occasional round tripper in his part-time role.

Bourjos (elbow) was activated by the team on Thursday and slotted into the starting lineup against the White Sox, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bourjos will be manning left field and batting ninth during his first game back since May 28. It is a positive sign that the 30-year-old was able to return as soon as he was eligible to come off the 10-day disabled list, especially with a few rehab games under his belt.

Bourjos reports that his elbow is back to normal and he's expected to return to the Rays on Thursday, the first day he's eligible to come off the disabled list, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bourjos was 0-for-4 in his second game with High-A Charlotte on Monday night, but the important thing is that rest and a cortisone shot he received last week have eliminated the pain he was feeling in his elbow. The veteran is slated to play a full game in left field on Tuesday and then return to the big-league club for the final game of a three-game set versus the White Sox on Thursday.

Bourjos (elbow) was 0-for-4 with a strikeout in High-A Charlotte's 3-2 loss to the Clearwater on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Bourjos was participating in the first of what is expected to be at least two rehab games with the Stone Crabs. The veteran outfielder went on the 10-day disabled list on May 30 but his stay is currently expected to be limited to the minimum span of time for that designation.

Bourjos (elbow) will play rehab games with High-A Charlotte on Saturday and Monday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bourjos was placed on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday with tennis elbow, but appears close to returning after a few days of rest. The journeyman outfielder has been used sparingly as a reserve outfielder this season and hasn't helped his case by hitting just .196 over 56 at-bats.

Bourjos was placed on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday due to tennis elbow, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear when the issue cropped up, but it may be part of the reason why he sat out six of the past eight games and went hitless in the only two games he managed to appear in. No word has come forth on how much time Bourjos will miss due to this ailment, but the Rays opted to bolster their bullpen in his stead by calling up Hunter Wood and Chih-Wei Hu from the minors.

Bourjos went 3-for-4 with an RBI single, double and a run in Wednesday's 10-6 loss to the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran outfielder put together his best outing of the season despite hitting out of the nine-hole, with Wednesday marking his first multi-hit effort of 2017. His sixth-inning single also generated his first RBI since April 22 and vaulted his average over the Mendoza Line to .211. The 30-year-old is capable of playing all three outfield spots, which should continue affording him occasional starts.

Bourjos will man center field and lead off for the Rays in Monday's game against the Marlins, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the Marlins bringing the left-handed Wei-Yin Chen to the hill, the lefty-hitting Kevin Kiermaier will cede his spot in the lineup to Bourjos, who draws his second start in three games. Bourjos is valued mainly for his skills as a defender, but his .161/.257/.258 batting line on the season doesn't provide much optimism that he'll be able to ignite the Rays at the top of the order.

Bourjos entered Saturday's victory over the Astros as a pinch-hitter in the sixth inning and went 1-for-2 with a two-run single.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran hit for Kevin Kiermaier in the sixth with the bases jammed and delivered, smacking a single to center that plated Shane Peterson and Tim Beckham to extend the Rays' lead to 6-3 at the time. Bourjos hasn't been able to generate much offense this season in his 20 at-bats, as his average stands at an even .200 and he has only one extra-base hit, a solo home run, to his name thus far.
