Luke Scott finished 3-for-3 with a home run in Wednesday's loss to the Royals. Scott went 0-for-4 in his season debut on Tuesday and then fared much better in his follow-up. He took Royals starter Luis Mendoza deep in the fourth inning and singled in his other two at-bats. There are better options in mixed leagues, but Scott should be owned in most AL-only formats going forward.

Rays activated DH Luke Scott from the 15-day disabled list. Scott has been out since the end of spring training with a strained calf. He is in the Rays' starting lineup on Tuesday night against the Royals and can be plugged into action immediately in AL-only fantasy leagues. The 34-year-old has fringe value in standard formats.

Luke Scott (calf) is expected to be activated from the disabled list prior to Tuesday's game. Scott was removed from a rehab game last Friday when his right elbow stiffened up after being hit by a pitch, but it appears that it won't change his expected activation date. He's been out all season with a strained calf.

Luke Scott was removed from Friday's rehab game when his right elbow stiffened up after being hit by a pitch. Scott has been out all year due to a strained calf. He's currently being listed as day-to-day. While the injury doesn't appear to be serious, it could impact his ability to return to the Rays' lineup on Tuesday as was originally planned.

Luke Scott (calf) is likely to be activated Tuesday. Scott went 1-for-4 in his first rehab game at High-A Charlotte and will remain there through Sunday. The 34-year-old DH has been out all year because of a calf strain. He had 14 homers and 55 RBI in 96 games last season and is worth stashing in deeper mixed leagues.

Luke Scott (calf) is on track to begin a minor league rehab assignment Tuesday with High-A Charlotte. Scott went through a range of drills on Sunday and told reporters afterward that he felt "ready to take the next step" in his rehabilitation from a right calf strain. He hasn't played in live games since March, so the Rays may ask him to spend over a week on the farm. The 34-year-old designated hitter should join Tampa Bay's starting lineup by the end of April.

Luke Scott (calf) did some drills on Sunday and will likely begin a rehab assignment in the coming days. Scott said he hopes to be back as soon as he can "get on that fastball," so it sounds like his leg issues are behind him. The 34-year-old designated hitter has yet to play a game for the Rays in 2013. He's understandably anxious to get going on a rehab assignment.

The 34-year-old began the season on the DL with a right calf strain, but he could be ready to join the Rays' lineup around the end of the month.

Luke Scott (calf) ran the bases at about 60 percent effort on Tuesday. He'll try to run harder on Thursday before hopefully beginning a rehab assignment over the weekend. If everything breaks right, Scott could be activated sometime next week.
