Kyle Farnsworth walked four and was charged with three runs in one-third of an inning Wednesday in a loss to the Yankees. It was simply shocking that manager Joe Maddon let Farnsworth continue even after he had walked the bases loaded in a 3-1 game. He was pulled until after the fourth walk forced in a run. It was just Farnsworth's second appearance back from his elbow injury. He was really good last year, but the Rays obviously erred in letting him return to high-leverage situations right away.
