Parker's bullpen session went well Tuesday and he will face live hitters Friday, the Bay Area News Group's Carl Steward reports. He continues to make slight progress in his return from Tommy John surgery, and remains on track to return sometime in June. Owners will want to check back on his status following Friday's live BP session.

Parker (elbow) will throw a full bullpen session Tuesday, Carl Steward of Bay Area News Group reports. The A's will wait to see how the session goes before making any decisions, but Parker remains on track to potentially face live hitters as soon as Friday. Barring a setback, the team expects to have him back sometime in June.

Parker could face live hitters Friday as he works his was back from Tommy John surgery, John Hickey of the Bay Area News Group reports. All reports have been positive during Parker's return from elbow surgery, and this will be the next step towards Parker's return. He's still slated to actually be available in June. That fact, along with his previous injury history, restrict the minimal fantasy value he may have had for 2015.

Parker (elbow) is scheduled to throw all his pitches in a bullpen session on Tuesday for the first time since surgery, reports Jane Lee of MLB.com. Parker is adding his slider today to complete his full complement of pitches. Parker is progressing well in his recovery from his second Tommy John surgery. He is still scheduled to join the team in June.

Parker (elbow) threw 40 pitches in a side session on Tuesday, including throwing his curve ball for the first time since Tommy John surgery, reports Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Rehabbing from his second Tommy John surgery, Parker is now up to 95% effort on his fastball and all accounts have been that he looks very good so far. Parker is expected to return to the A's in June, although it is still undecided whether that will be in the rotation or if the A's may ease him back with a stint in the bullpen.

Parker (elbow) is projected to return to the A's in June, reports Jane Lee of MLB.com. Parker's 2014 Tommy John Surgery was the second of his career and manager Bob Melvin noted on Sunday that the team would be particularly careful with Parker because of that. It is unclear what role Parker will have once he does return, but with the A's likely to take a large amount of caution with him, it is difficult to see him providing much fantasy value in 2015.

Parker has lost his arbitration case with the Athletics and will receive a one-year, $850,000 deal, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports. The combination of Parker's 2014 season lost to Tommy John surgery and mediocre 2013 season likely cost him his case, in which he filed for a $1.7 million salary. This was Parker's first go-around in arbitration, and will definitely earn more next year after he's able to pitch this season.

Parker (elbow) is not expected to be ready for Opening Day, FOX Sports' Jon Morosi reports. The A's have not ruled Parker out entirely for the start of the season, but it appears he will not be ready when the real games kick off. It's not exactly clear where Parker stands in his recovery from Tommy John surgery, but he should join Oakland's rotation at some point this season after missing the entire 2014 campaign.

Jarrod Parker (elbow) is hoping to be cleared to begin a throwing program in 2-3 weeks. Parker, of course, is recovering from Tommy John surgery that he had in late March. It was the second such operation of his career, so it's possible he'll need a little more time than your average Tommy John rehabber.
