Parker (elbow) will start for Single-A Stockton, reports Jane Lee of MLB.com. Parker is scheduled to throw four innings or 60 pitches in his first minor league start since his Tommy John surgery March 2014. He is scheduled to rejoin the A's in late May or early June, presumably in the rotation based on the way they are using him, if there is a spot available at the time.

Parker (elbow) threw three innings and 33 pitches in an extended spring training game Saturday, John Hickey of the Bay Area News Group reports. Parker got on the mound for his second simulated outing of the week and reportedly worked 90-94 mph with his fastball. It's a long, slow process to rebuild strength following Tommy John surgery, but he appears on track to return around the A's loose target date of June 1.

Parker (elbow) will throw 45 pitches over three innings in an extended spring training game Monday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports. After completing two 15-pitch "innings" in a simulated game Tuesday, Parker will tack on a third frame his next time out, this time against Brewers minor leaguers. The A's are setting June 1 as a loose target date for Parker's return from Tommy John surgery.

The A's are loosely targeting June 1 for Parker's (elbow) return, CSN Bay Area reports. His most recently throwing session Tuesday was a simulated game that featured two 15-pitch "innings" against A's hitters. Parker was using all three of his pitches Tuesday, and the June 1 timetable is subject to change based on when he's able to begin what figures to be a lengthy minor league rehab assignment.

Parker (elbow) threw a sim game against a few of his big league teammates Tuesday at O.co Coliseum, the Bay Area News Group's John Hickey reports. He threw 15-pitch innings and said his arm feels good. Obviously there is no firm timetable for his return as he continues to recover from Tommy John surgery, but he is probably at least a couple months away.

Parker (elbow) was officially placed on the 15-Day DL on Saturday. Parker has been facing batters in simulated games, but the A's are taking it slow with Parker coming off his second Tommy John surgery. He is not expected to join the A's until early June and it is unclear what role he will initially take on.

Parker will throw another simulated game Thursday, and is closing in on pitching in minor league games, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Parker remains months away from returning to the rotation, but he's progressing nicely at this point. If all goes as planned, it's possible he could return before the midway point of the campaign.

Parker (elbow) will throw 40 pitches to hitters Monday, the Bay Area News Group's John Hickey reports. The plan is for Parker to throw 20 pitches, then take a break, and then throw 20 more. This represents a step forward as he threw two sets of 15 pitches his last time out. Parker continues to be on track to return to the A's rotation sometime this summer.

Parker (elbow) is well ahead of schedule in his rehab from Tommy John Surgery, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Parker, who has now undergone the procedure twice, said he's feeling very well, and manager Bob Melvin said what he's seen thus far is all "good stuff." Parker threw a simulated game Wednesday, tossing two sets of 15 pitches to hitters with a break in between. The A's have not provided a firm return timetable for Parker, but he's expected to return sometime around June. "It's hard. There's every bone in my body that feels like I could be ready sooner, or soon, but I think the smart side of me says be cautious," Parker said.

Parker (elbow) will throw two 15-pitch innings in minor league games Wednesday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports. Parker is still in the process of rehabbing from Tommy John surgery, but still likely remains a ways off from returning in a full capacity. The fact that he didn't suffer any setbacks during bullpen and live hitting sessions is a good sign, however, and he continues to make progress towards a return at some point this season.
