Rodney (1-2) blew his third save of the season and took the loss Thursday against the Yankees, allowing a three-run walkoff homer to Gary Sanchez in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Giancarlo Stanton promptly followed with an infield single before Sanchez ended things with one swing of the bat. It hasn't been the smoothest start to the year for Rodney, but few walk the tightrope better than the veteran reliever.

However, the Twins appear to be content using Addison Reed as their high leverage reliever meaning Rodney should continue to rack up saves for the time being.
