The Padres issued a statement saying they are in the process of gathering information, but considering Cabrera was already sidelined with a hamstring injury and the team is not in contention, it would not be surprising if Cabrera being charged with a DUI leads to the Padres shutting him down for the season. In any case, he has little value in single-season leagues at this point.
