Everth Cabrera (hamstring) could have his return pushed back to Friday. Cabrera went 0-for-3 on Tuesday in his first rehab game with Class-A Fort Wayne and is scheduled to play another on Wednesday. While the original plan called for him to be activated Thursday, he'd have little time to travel to make it in time for an afternoon game. The Padres are now leaning toward having him spend three days in the minors and return from the DL on Friday.
