Hernandez was traded to the Diamondbacks on Monday, Buster Olney of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran reliever has put together a career year with the Angels this season, producing a 2.23 ERA and a 37:8 K:BB in 36.1 innings pitched. Hernandez should see plenty of high-leverage innings in his new home, although save opportunities may be hard to come by with Fernando Rodney and Archie Bradley likely ahead of him in the pecking order for ninth-inning duties.

Hernandez fired a scoreless inning while striking out two en route to his eighth hold in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Hernandez was picked up off the scrap heap to begin the season, but he has pitched like one of the Angels' top bullpen arms this year (2.73 ERA and 10.2 K/9). The 32-year-old is still getting it done with a low- to mid-90s fastball complimented by a two different breaking balls with good movement. He doesn't get a ton of hold chances, but his ratios should be good enough to help those in deep holds formats.

Hernandez fired a scoreless ninth inning with two strikeouts in Thursday's win over the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
By the time Hernandez entered the game, the Angels had gotten out to a five-run lead to negate the possibility of a save situation. Still, Hernandez kept his foot on the gas and got through four batters on just 15 pitches. That said, had it been a save situation, Cam Bedrosian would have likely taken the hill for the Angels. Hernandez is enjoying a resurgent season in 2017 with a 2.28 ERA and a 0.97 WHIP, but several things would need to happen in order for him to start seeing save opportunities.

Hernandez pitched a scoreless ninth inning to collect his first save of the season during Wednesday's win over the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Bud Norris had pitched each of the past three days, so Hernandez was leaned on in the save situation Wednesday. While it's encouraging to see Hernandez pitching in high-leverage situations, and particularly Wednesday's ninth inning, his role is murky going forward. Norris has been solid in the closer role, and Cam Bedrosian (groin) projects to return to the fold soon. Additionally, Huston Street (triceps) also began a rehab assignment Wednesday. Keep fantasy expectations in check for Hernandez.

Hernandez struck out a batter in his lone inning of work Thursday against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran reliever has pitched well since joining the Angels in April, posting a 3.00 ERA with a 12:1 K:BB ratio over 12 innings. Hernandez has converted five holds this season and should continue to see opportunities in a shaky Angels bullpen.

Hernandez was added to the Angels' major league roster on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Hernandez was dominating Triple-A hitters at Gwinnett, where he owned nine strikeouts and a 1.13 ERA over eight innings. Atlanta may not have had a spot for the veteran Hernandez, who has struggled to find his top form since missing the entire 2014 season due to injury. The Angels, however, will take a chance on the 31-year-old and hope he can pitch like he did in 2012, when he finished with a 2.50 ERA and 98 strikeouts over 68.1 innings.

Hernandez was traded to the Angels on Monday in exchange for a player to be named or cash considerations.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old had been vying for a spot in the Braves' bullpen, but he began the year in Triple-A, where he holds a 1.12 ERA across seven appearances (8.0 total innings). Expect Hernandez to report to the same level within the Angels organization as he looks to work his way back to the big leagues. Last season, Hernandez made 70 appearances for the Phillies, posting a 3.84 ERA and 1.50 WHIP.

Hernandez is in the running for the Braves' final bullpen spot, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old has been in Braves camp for less than a week, but after left-hander Kevin Chapman was designated for assignment Friday, Hernandez is in the thick of the race to land a major-league roster spot. The right-hander hasn't been very impressive in any of the three major-league camps he's been in, but his solid performance with the Phillies last season could give him a leg up on Chaz Roe for the final spot. There's a chance the Braves opt to carry both relievers, but only time will tell what the decision ultimately is.

Hernandez agreed to a deal with the Braves on Sunday as a non-roster invitee.
EDGE Analysis
After signing a minor league deal with the Giants in February, he was recently informed that he wouldn't make their 25-man roster and thus requested his release. He will report to Braves camp Monday with the hopes of making their Opening Day roster.

Hernandez was released by the Giants on Friday, Alex Pavlovic of CSN Bay Area Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hernandez had requested the move after being informed he would not make the Opening Day roster. The 31-year-old was attempting to earn a bullpen spot after appearing in 70 games for Philadelphia last season, but posted a 4.76 ERA over six Cactus League games this spring. He'll look to latch on to a roster elsewhere.
