Crisp went 2-for-3 with two walks, a double, one RBI and three runs in Monday's loss to the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
After a terrible first month in which the veteran hit just .219, Crisp is off to hot start in May, going 6-for 16 (.375) with a pair of doubles and five runs. In 44 games last season (missed most of the season with a neck injury), the 36-year-old looked like he had lost a step when he swiped just two bags in two attempts. However, Crisp seems to have found his stride early in 2016 as he's already 4-for-6 in 24 games. The outfielder will need to contribute in the steals category to be relevant in most leagues.

Crisp went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in Saturday's 8-4 victory over the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
The 36-year-old continues to struggle overall at the plate, slashing just .234/.310/.416, but the three hits were the most he'd garnered in a game this season. The 14-year veteran has been able to provide a bit of pop this season with three homers, but is unlikely to approximate the career-high 22 gopher balls he launched with Oakland in 2013.

Crisp is not in the lineup Friday against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
This is the third game in a row that Crisp will not start, which could be due to his rough .208 batting average he's posted thus far. Khris Davis will move into left field, while Billy Butler takes Davis' spot as the designated hitter.

Crisp is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Following an 0-for-4 showing with two strikeouts Monday, Crisp's average has dropped to just .208 in the early portion of the season. He'll get a day off Tuesday, while Khris Davis will take over in left field and bat cleanup against Hisashi Iwakuma.

Crisp went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, a run and a walk Friday against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Crisp's third blast of the season gave the Athletics an early lead in a game they'd go on to win. Although he's struggling with a.230 batting average, he's moved his OPS up to .767.

Crisp is out of the lineup Thursday against Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Crisp started each of the previous three games and six of the last seven, playing a mix of left field, center field and designated hitter. Though he only has 12 hits in 58 at-bats (.207 average), Crisp does have two home runs and four stolen bases, along with a strong 10:8 K:BB ratio. Crisp's injury history will likely lead to extra time off, but he still figures to start at least four or five games most weeks.

Crisp is out of the lineup Sunday against the Blue Jays, John Hickey of the Oakland Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Crisp seems to have settled into at least a semi-regular role in the A's outfield and DH platoon of late, having started in the team's previous three games. He's starting to come around with five hits and four walks over those three games, but he'll still likely sit out a couple times a week to rest his 36-year-old legs.

Crisp went 2-for-3 with a homer, a walk, a steal, an RBI and two runs against the Yankees on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Now that's how you fill up every column of the box score. The veteran speedster is coming off a tough, injury-shortened 2015 in which he hit only .175, and he's only at .195 this year even after Thursday's effort, so we'll need to see more from him before he can be considered anything but a low-end speed play best reserved for deeper formats.

Crisp is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Crisp is struggling in the early going, hitting just .167, so he'll get his second day off in three games. Khris Davis will take over the DH duties Tuesday, hitting seventh against Michael Pineda.
