Manager Charlie Montoyo said Norris (forearm) is scheduled to pitch one inning Sunday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Norris has been dealing with forearm fatigue for a few days, though the issue is thought to be minor. Assuming everything goes as planned, Montoyo said he expects the veteran right-hander to be ready for the start of the season. Norris is expected to hold down a setup role once healthy.

Norris (forearm) is still expected to be ready for Opening Day, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Jays remain optimistic that his bout of forearm soreness is minor, and Norris may even pitch in some capacity this weekend. With Ryan Tepera (elbow) and John Axford (elbow) both out of commission, the team can ill afford to lose Norris from its relief corps as well. Barring any setbacks, expect the veteran right-hander to open the season working the eighth inning in front of closer Ken Giles.

Norris was dealing with forearm fatigue Thursday but felt fine after throwing Friday, John Lott of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Any arm issue is a worry for any pitcher, but this one doesn't appear to be particularly worrisome. Norris is scheduled to pitch again Sunday.

Norris (undisclosed) was scratched from Thursday's game against the Phillies, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Norris didn't feel right while throwing earlier, prompting the Blue Jays to scrap his scheduled outing Thursday. The right-hander will be further evaluated in the coming days, but there's a chance he's forced to open the season on the shelf given how close Opening Day is.

Norris impressed in his spring debut Friday, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After Norris' spring debut on Friday, manager Charlie Montoyo praised Norris saying, "He was really good. He dealt. He looked to me like a closer, a late-inning guy, pitching yesterday. That's good. He's competing for a job and that's a good start." Norris signed with the Blue Jays on Feb. 28, so he hasn't had his normal time to ramp up this spring. To suggest he has the chance to overtake Ken Giles -- the team's presumed closer all offseason -- seems to be a bit of a stretch, but Norris has been used in the closer role in past seasons and enters 2019 with 47 career saves.

Norris signed with the Blue Jays on Thursday, Robert Murray of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The terms of the deal are not yet clear. Norris pitched 57.2 innings for the Cardinals last season, recording 28 saves with a 3.59 ERA. He'll likely slot in as the second option for the closer role behind Ken Giles. Norris will turn 34 in early March, but he's still a capable option for a late-inning role, posting a 27.4 percent strikeout rate with a 94.6 mph fastball last season.

Manager Mike Shildt said Norris is unlikely to pitch again this weekend after leaving Friday's game with left hamstring tightness, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Norris has likely pitched for the last time this season barring a postseason run for the Cardinals. Since the club would have to win both games this weekend against the Cubs, in addition to a pair of losses by the Dodgers just to force a Game 163, it looks like the right-hander's season has come to an end.

Norris was taken out of Friday's game with left hamstring tightness, Jim Hayes of Fox Sports Midwest reports.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Norris is dealing with a hamstring injury after facing two batters during Friday's relief appearance. Barring a a trip to the postseason, it's likely that we've seen the last of Norris in 2018. Manager Mike Shildt will likely discuss the reliever's status within the next 24 hours prior to Saturday's matinee.

Norris was removed from Friday's outing against the Cubs with an apparent injury, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Per Brian Stull of WGNU 920 AM, Norris appeared to be reaching for his left hamstring, though the pitcher noted that he's been dealing with a hip issue recently, so the exact nature of his latest injury isn't known just yet. Expect an update on his status in the coming hours.

Norris (finger) is expected to be available for Friday's game against the Giants, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Norris exited Sunday's contest against the Dodgers due to a blister on his right hand and hasn't pitched since. He tested the injury during a game of catch prior to series opener and didn't appear to have any issues. Although Norris recently lost his role as the closer, the Cardinals will likely deploy him in high-leverage situations moving forward.
