Ramirez is out of the lineup Thursday against the Mets. After going 1-for-4 with a double Wednesday night, Ramirez will get a regular maintenance day for the afternoon contest. Hernan Perez will man third base in his stead.

Ramirez is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rockies. This is Ramirez's second day off in three days, but that's not likely a big deal in the long run. He's coming off a great 3-for-5 game Friday and will be replaced by Hernan Perez for Saturday.

Ramirez is out of the lineup Sunday against the Nationals. Ramirez followed up Friday's five-RBI evening with an 0-for-4 performance, bringing his June batting average down to .190. The veteran third baseman is known to hit in bunches, but it was likely time for a regular day off. Hector Gomez will take over at third base, but Ramirez should be available to pinch hit, if needed.

Ramirez went 3-for-4 with three doubles and 5 RBI on Friday against the Nationals. The veteran third-baseman proved he still has some juice left in his bat with doubles in each of his first three plate appearances. Friday's performance raised his BABIP to a still-unlucky .230, so owners can expect Ramirez's .223 average to continue to trend upward.

Ramirez (elbow) is not viewed as a fit by the Mets, as they still hope to get David Wright (back) in the near term, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports. The Mets had been rumored to be in potential talks to acquire Ramirez, despite his poor season, due to Wright's absence. Heyman also noted that the Mets prefer someone for third base now who could switch positions. That likely would mean someone like Ben Zobrist or Martin Prado, who has flexibility to move around the diamond.

Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's victory over the Pirates. Ramirez failed to record a hit in the first five games he appeared in this month, but he has started to turn things around, going 4-for-11 over his last three games. Ramirez owns just a .647 OPS on the season, but he will continue to play regularly at third base in his final big league season.

Ramirez is out of Wednesday's lineup against the Cardinals. Ramirez will take Wednesday's day game off after a 0-for-4 night at the plate Tuesday. He's now 0-for-8 in his last three appearances and 1-for-17 over his last five, dropping his average to just .215 on the season. Hector Gomez will enter the lineup at third base Wednesday, batting seventh for the Brewers.
