Ramirez's $14 million option was exercised by the Brewers on Friday. Ramriez's option was mutual, meaning he now has three days to either accept or decline. If he decides to decline, the Brewers could still make a qualifying offer on him for $15.3 million, which could effect his value signing elsewhere.

Ramirez is out of the lineup Friday against the Cubs. Ramirez has been a mainstay in the Brewers' lineup other than a stint on the disabled list earlier in the season. He will get a rare day off Friday, however, as Hector Gomez will get a chance at third base and bat seventh for the Brewers.

Ramirez is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds. Ramirez has started every game at third base since Aug. 15, so he will get a well-deserved day off Sunday. Mark Reynolds will man the hot corner for the Brewers in Ramirez's place.

Ramirez hit a double and his 14th home run of the season Monday, with two runs and three RBI in a 3-for-5 effort against the Padres. Ramirez and teammate Ryan Braun provided the power in a 10-1 route of San Diego. The veteran third baseman is mashing so far in August, slashing .427/.466/.610 in 82 at-bats.

Ramirez (hamstring) returned to the lineup Tuesday, going 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI. The hamstring tightness Ramirez experienced in Sunday's game proved to be no hindrance to the third baseman's performance, as he collected his third multi-hit game in four games. The Brewers could spot Ramirez the occasional off day over the final month of the season, but he'll otherwise be a regular in the team's lineup down the stretch.

Ramirez (hamstring) is in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays. Ramirez was removed from Sunday's game early to rest his sore hamstring, but the setback will not prevent him from taking the field Tuesday. As he regularly does, Ramirez will man the hot corner and bat cleanup Tuesday night.

Ramirez has been dealing with slight hamstring tightness lately, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The injury has not cost Ramirez any starts as of yet, but he was removed in the fourth inning of Sunday's game with the Brewers comfortably in the lead. The Brewers have an off day Monday, which should give Ramirez time to rest his leg without missing further action.

Ramirez is not in the lineup Thursday against the Cubs. The Brewers are resting a number of regulars for the afternoon matchup and Ramirez is one of them. Mark Reynolds will take over at third base and bat sixth versus Cubs starter Edwin Jackson.

Aramis Ramirez is not in the Brewers' lineup Sunday. He's just getting a day off after going 2-for-23 on the team's homestand. Elian Herrera is at third base in Ramirez's place Sunday.

Aramis Ramirez has decided to continue his career beyond this season. Ramirez has a $14 million mutual option for 2015 and has expressed in the past the possibility that he'll hang up his cleats after this season. However, given that the 36-year-old is in the midst of an All-Star season, it's no surprise that he's ultimately decided to keep going. The Brewers also seem likely to exercise their portion of Ramirez's option.
