The Orioles aren't scheduled to face another lefty until Sunday's game against Wade Miley and the Red Sox, but that contest will kick off a stretch of three southpaws in four days.

De Aza's absence is a bit out of the ordinary, as the Orioles are taking on right-hander Rick Porcello on Sunday afternoon. The regular left-fielder is just 7-for-34 with zero extra-base hits in his career against Porcello, however, so the move does make sense from a matchup standpoint. Manager Buck Showalter will instead give Delmon Young the starting nod.
