Travis Snider singled, homered, drew a walk, and scored three runs as the Pirates emerged victorious against the Dodgers by a 6-1 margin on Wednesday. Snider's second-inning solo home run off of Dan Haren was his first easy trot around the bases since June 22. He has played sparingly and carries a mediocre .252/.333/.374 slash line along with five home runs and 17 RBI in 184 plate appearances.

Travis Snider went 2-for-3 with his fourth home run of the season in Sunday's win over the Cubs. Getting a rare start in place of Starling Marte, Snider connected on a Jason Hammel pitch to give the Pirates an early lead. Snider also singled in the game, and his two hits were more than he'd had combined since June 9. He'll continue to be a part-time player in a loaded outfield and may even be a roster casualty when Neil Walker returns from injury next week.

Serving as the leadoff hitter for the second time this month, Travis Snider went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's win over the Giants. Snider also drew a walk and drove in what turned out to be the deciding runs in the second inning. The Pirates have moved Starling Marte down in the batting order as they try to get him going, which means unconventional leadoff hitters like Snider have gotten a shot in the leadoff spot. Marte will eventually return to the top of the order.

Travis Snider was suspended two games by MLB for his actions in Sunday's benches-clearing brawl with the Brewers. Snider was right in the middle of the fracas, tackling Carlos Gomez before eventually being punched by Martin Maldonado, so it's not surprising to see him get punished. No word yet on whether he will appeal the suspension or begin serving it immediately.

Travis Snider suffered a black eye and a cut under his left eye as a result of Sunday's benches-clearing brawl with the Brewers. Fortunately, he managed to avoid a fracture or a concussion, and is fine to play Monday. Snider is likely looking at a suspension for his actions during the fracas.

Travis Snider came off the bench to hit a two-run homer Thursday against the Cubs. Snider didn't start against the lefty Travis Wood, but he hit for Clint Barmes as soon as Brian Schlitter took over and launched his second homer of the year. Jose Tabata is also off to a nice start, so those two will continue to split time in right field for now.

Travis Snider went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's loss to the Cubs. Snider took Jason Hammel deep in the seventh inning, one of the Pirates' five home runs in the game. Snider has yet to live up to the hype he received as a prospect and he's running out of time.
