Snider (hamstring) will return to the lineup Monday, batting second and playing right field, the Pittsburgh Tribune's Travis Sawchik reports. Snider had only been used off the bench recently, as he was dealing with a hamstring injury, but he's now healthy enough to start the game in the field. Look for him to share time with Andrew Lambo and Gregory Polanco going forward.

Snider (hamstring) remains out of the lineup Friday,MLB.com's Tom Singer reports. He saw an at-bat off the bench during Wednesday's game, so that will likely remain an option Friday, but Jose Tabata will get the start in right field. Snider remains day-to-day.

The Pirates are optimistic Snider (hamstring) will be able to return to the lineup over the weekend against the Cubs, Rob Biertempfel of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports. Snider will sit for the sixth straight game Wednesday while he continues to be slowed by the hamstring issue. He was able to log a pinch-hit appearance on Monday and looks to be progressing positively, but it's not certain whether or not he'll be able to reclaim a permanent spot in the lineup once healthy. The recent call-ups of Andrew Lambo and Gregory Polanco have given the Pirates some other options in right field, which could result in something of a three-headed timeshare at the position.

Snider (hamstring) remains out of the lineup Monday against the Cardinals. Although Snider successfully completed his workouts over the weekend, the team hasn't given any indication as to when he may return to the lineup. He may very well remain limited through the entirety of the Cardinals series, as the Pirates can afford to take it slow following roster expansion.

Snider (hamstring) successfully completed his workouts over the weekend, though the team hasn't stated when he might return, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The Pirates are relying on Snider for guidance as the outfielder has dealt with hamstring discomfort in the past. Barring setback, it sounds as though he could return as a pinch-hitter sometime in the next several days.

Snider (hamstring) is out of the lineup again Sunday against the Reds. Snider left Wednesday's game with a left hamstring injury, and hasn't returned to the lineup since the injury. The lefty had recently cooled off from a hot streak before the injury, so it's possible when he does return, that he will no longer be an everyday outfielder. Andrew Lambo will start in right field Sunday and bat second for the Pirates.
