Drew got the start at second base Saturday and went 3-for-4 with three doubles and two runs scored.
EDGE Analysis
Despite Trea Turner's presence on the roster, Nats manager Dusty Baker went with the veteran hand to replace Daniel Murphy (hamstring) at second base Saturday and was rewarded for his faith in Drew. It's his first multi-hit game since June 10 though, so don't expect a repeat performance even if he gets the nod again Sunday.

Drew went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Friday's 9-6 victory over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran infielder went deep for the second consecutive game, and also put forth his second straight two-hit effort. Drew now has four of his 10 RBI on the season during June, and is also hitting .500 over his first 10 at-bats of the month. While the recent success is certainly welcome, the 33-year-old still has a ways to go to climb back to respectability, as he's still hitting .226 on the season over 62 at-bats.

Drew went 2-for-5 with a solo homer against the White Sox on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
His first multi-hit game in more than a month -- the last one was May 7 -- was just one small part of an 11-run offensive outburst for the Nats. The 33-year-old middle infielder has the ability to knock a ball out of the yard here and there, but he's only hit over .201 once in the past four seasons.

Drew is in the lineup Wednesday against the White Sox, Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post reports. He's playing second and batting eighth.
EDGE Analysis
Drew is making his fifth start at second base for the Nationals this season in place of Daniel Murphy, who is receiving a routine day off. The 33-year-old has only one multi-hit game this season and is batting a lowly .171 in his last 41 at bats.

Drew is in the lineup for Saturday's matchup with the Cardinals, Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Drew will fill in for Anthony Rendon at the hot corner, and bat sixth in the order. The Nationals will be squaring off against Adam Wainwright. Drew is just 1-for-23 with seven strike outs in that matchup for his career.

Drew will start at second base Sunday in place of Daniel Murphy, who was scratched due to illness, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Murphy on the shelf, Drew and his sluggish .524 OPS will make his eighth start of the year and bat eighth in the order.

Drew got the start at second base Saturday in place of Daniel Murphy (illness) and went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
EDGE Analysis
Murphy likely won't be out long, but with Jake Arrieta on the hill for the Cubs in the series finale Sunday, Drew could get the nod again at second if Murphy needs another day to shake off his bug. Drew's hitting just .147/.171/.265 through 34 at-bats on the season, though, so even if he does get another start, don't expect much production from him.

Drew went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Sunday's 16-inning win against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Drew was replaced after eight innings during Sunday's win after failing to reach base in four at-bats. This game provided a fairly accurate summary of Drew's season up to this point, he is 3-for-20 at the plate with only one walk versus seven strikeouts in 2016. In the last two seasons, Drew has accumulated 728 plate appearances between time with the Red Sox and Yankees, but is batting well below .200 during that span with an OBP that isn't good enough to warrant a use in many standard leagues, especially if he fails to bring any pop to his at-bats.

Drew got the start at second base Wednesday, going 1-for-2 with his first home run of the spring.
EDGE Analysis
He's hitting a solid .320 (8-for-25) with a 4:3 BB:K this spring, and Drew seems locked into a utility role with the Nationals to begin the season. That may not afford him much playing time right away, but given the number of injury-prone starters in the Nats' lineup, such as Anthony Rendon and Ryan Zimmerman, there could be opportunities for Drew as the season progresses.

Drew agreed to a one-year, $3 million contract with the Nationals on Tuesday, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
He barely pushed his average back above the Mendoza Line in 2015, batting just .201 despite a career-best 85.7 percent contact rate. Drew has been unlucky the past two seasons with balls in play, and he still has significant pop for a middle infielder entering his age-33 season, but he figures to open the year in a reserve role with the Nats. Further, he's lost shortstop eligibility in many formats after making 15 appearances at the position in 2015.
