Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com believes that Ricky Romero is a long shot to make the Blue Jays out of spring training. The former ace of the Jays staff, the 29-year-old southpaw has posted a horrifying 5.97 ERA and 1.71 WHIP over 188 1/3 innings the last two seasons. It looks as if he'll begin the season back at Triple-A Buffalo where he'll have to show a return to form before he rejoins Toronto's rotation. He can safely be ignored for fantasy purposes.

Could he be back before September callups? "Sure, if he's performs well and he's doing great and we have a need up here."
