Nolasco (6-13) lasted just 3.2 innings after giving up four runs on six hits and two walks with two strikeouts in a losing effort against the Mariners on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
This was Nolasco's first loss since July 26 despite posting a 5.53 ERA over an eight-start stretch. The veteran has given up a homer in three consecutive starts and owns a 1.92 HR/9 through 29 starts, which ranks second among all qualified pitchers. Nolasco's dangerous pitching style doesn't bode well for his chances against a hard-hitting Astros lineup next Thursday.

Nolasco gave up three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out six over 5.2 innings in a no-decision against the Rangers on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
It wouldn't be a Nolasco start with at least one homer allowed -- Carlos Gomez touched him up, Nolasco's 33rd allowed this season (second most in baseball). Nolasco's ERA has hovered around 5.00 for most of the year, and the underlying numbers don't offer much hope for improvement over the season's final month. He lines up to face the Mariners his next time out.

Nolasco surrendered four runs on six hits with two walks and four strikeouts over six innings in Sunday's no-decision against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
This result exceeded expectations considering Nolasco came in with a 5.05 ERA and had failed to pitch six full innings in any of his previous four starts. Houston's top-ranked offense got to him early, scoring two runs on a first-inning Jose Altuve homer and tacking on two more in the fourth. Los Angeles' offense took Nolasco off the hook with five runs over the next two innings combined, but his team ultimately lost the game 7-5. His next start is scheduled for Saturday in Texas.

Nolasco held the Rangers to one run on three hits while walking three and striking out six over 4.2 innings Tuesday. He was left with a no-decision after he failed to complete five frames in a 10-1 win.
EDGE Analysis
Nolasco was wild yet effective through four innings, but with a pitch count just north of 100 in the fifth, manager Mike Scioscia yanked his starter after he allowed three Rangers to reach base in a -- at the time -- close contest. The Angels ended up cruising to a 10-1 victory, but the 34-year-old came up one out short of his seventh win of the season. Nolasco reportedly had no lingering effects of the cramps that cut his previous start short, so he should be fine for his next scheduled outing against a dangerous Astros lineup.

Nolasco (cramps) said he is fine Friday after leaving his last start with cramps in both calves, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
This isn't surprising news considering the mild nature of his injury, and Nolasco's confirmation of health puts him back on track to start Tuesday against the Rangers. The 34-year-old has posted a 5.16 ERA and 1.45 WHIP over 139.2 innings this season, so he shouldn't draw to much interest from fantasy owners in a tough matchup against a potent Rangers lineup.

Nolasco (6-12) picked up the win in the Angels' 3-2 victory over the Nationals on Wednesday after tossing 5.2 innings and giving up two runs on five hits and three walks. He also struck out five batters during the outing before departing in the sixth inning with a calf cramp, according to Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Since Nolasco had already racked up 112 pitches on the afternoon, he likely wouldn't have remained in the game much longer, but the Angels' team trainer made the call to pull the right-hander from the outing with two outs and no runners on in the sixth inning. While he cramp issue is unlikely to result in Nolasco missing his next scheduled turn Tuesday against the Rangers, fantasy owners may want to make sure that he makes it through his pre-start bullpen session without issue. That being said, Nolasco won't make for a dependable lineup option if health prevails, as he's now sporting a 5.16 ERA and 1.45 WHIP for the season.

Nolasco allowed five runs on seven hits and a walk with three strikeouts over five innings in a no-decision Friday against Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Nolasco has now allowed 10 runs in just nine innings over his past two starts, thanks to 16 hits including three home runs. He isn't fooling anybody at this point, and Nolasco's ERA has skyrocketed to 5.24 thanks to this cold streak. If his struggles don't abate soon, the Angels could choose to shut him down and give a farmhand a look down the stretch.

Nolasco allowed five runs on nine hits with three walks and five strikeouts over four-plus innings in Sunday's no-decision against Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
Nolasco was removed after 94 pitches following a leadoff double that came around to score against Los Angeles' bullpen in the fifth inning. Despite his poor numbers, the veteran right-hander actually had his team in position to win until an eighth-inning collapse turned a 10-6 lead into an 11-10 loss. With a 5.09 ERA and 1.44 WHIP, Nolasco's best avoided in his next start Friday in Seattle.

Nolasco (5-12) held the Phillies to a single run on six hits and two walks in Tuesday's 7-1 win. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Nolasco has been a mostly mediocre or bad pitcher for more than a decade, but he's stuck around the league into his mid-30s anyway -- a testament to just how hard it is to find quality starting pitching. He'll turn in a surprisingly good start like this once in a while, but Nolasco is equally likely to experience a six-run implosion on any given day, making him an extremely volatile, low-upside fantasy asset. The veteran righty will draw a home gig against the A's on Sunday.
