Porcello (3-3) picked up the win Saturday against Seattle after allowing four runs on five hits and a walk in 6.2 frames. He struck out five batters and gave up one homer.
EDGE Analysis
All of the Mariners' damage came in the first inning, courtesy of back-to-back doubles by Daniel Vogelbach and Domingo Santana and a two-run homer by Jay Bruce. The only batter to reach base over the next 5.2 frames did so on an error, and the Red Sox's eight-run third inning gave Porcello an easy win. Porcello's next start is expected to come Friday against the Astros.

Porcello surrendered two runs on five hits and struck out seven over six innings Sunday in a no-decision against the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Porcello posted his third consecutive quality outing, but he was unable to snag the victory in what turned out to be a blowout win for Boston. Both of his earned runs came off solo homers in the fifth and sixth innings. Porcello will carry a 5.11 ERA and 1.57 WHIP with a 35:17 K:BB over 37 frames into his next start, which lines up for Saturday against Seattle.

Porcello (2-3) earned the win against the Athletics on Tuesday by giving up only two hits across eight shutout innings. He struck out eight and walked two.
EDGE Analysis
Porcello allowed only two baserunners into scoring position all evening as he locked down Oakland. The 30-year-old had a rough start to the season but over his last three starts has allowed five runs over 19.2 innings (2.29 ERA) with a 18:4 K:BB. Porcello will look to keep things going when he faces the White Sox on Sunday.

Porcello (1-3) picked up the win after surrendering three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings Thursday against Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Porcello finally managed to turn in his first quality outing of the season, and it took him 91 pitches (63 strikes) to do so. He gave up all three of his runs in the third inning on three hits and an error but managed to settle down and hurl three scoreless frames to close out his start on a positive note. The 30-year-old righty now owns a 7.43 ERA with 20 punchouts over 23 innings.

Porcello didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Rays, giving up two runs on six hits and a walk over 5.2 innings while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
He threw 60 of 91 pitches for strikes in his best performance yet this season, but after Brandon Lowe smacked a two-out single in the sixth inning, Porcello was replaced by Heath Hembree and was denied a chance at his first quality start. Porcello will take a rough 8.47 ERA into his next outing Thursday, at home against the Tigers.

Porcello (0-3) allowed three runs on six hits and five walks while striking out two in Saturday's 9-5 loss to the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Porcello, who threw just 48 strikes among his 90 pitches, had traffic in every inning and continued an uncharacteristically wild start to the season. He's walked 12 in 11.1 innings. He told Michael Silverman of the Boston Herald that he's rushing his delivery but hasn't been able to correct it. "I think the biggest thing is just the tempo and mechanics of the delivery and rushing out and it's not giving me time to be in a consistent spot when I release the ball," Porcello said. "I think I know what I need to do. It's just a matter of going out there and doing it. Sometimes your body gets caught in a pattern and you have to fight through that." Porcello will look to clean up his early-season mess Friday on the road against the hot Rays.

Porcello (0-2) took his second loss of the season after surrendering seven runs on 10 hits and three walks while striking out five over 4.2 innings Friday against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Porcello cruised through the first two innings before giving up a run in the third, four in the fourth and two more in the fifth prior to being mercifully lifted. He threw 61 of 98 pitches for strikes on the night and evidently caught too much of the plate at times. The 30-year-old has been roughed up in both of his starts to begin the 2019 campaign, allowing 16 runs (11 earned) while striking out eight over 7.1 innings.

Porcello (0-1) yielded nine runs (four earned) in 2.2 innings while taking the loss against Seattle on Sunday. He struck out three, walked four and allowed six hits.
EDGE Analysis
Obviously not the way Porcello was looking to kick off his 2019 campaign. The 30-year-old righty totally unraveled in the third frame, allowing seven runs before getting yanked. Looking to avoid his third straight year with an ERA over 4.00, Porcello will try to turn it around against the Rangers on Friday.

Porcello was hit by a batted ball off the right side of his head during the second inning of Monday's game against the Cubs, Michael Silverman of the Boston Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Porcello took a glancing blow from a Wilson Contreras line drive but avoided serious injury. After momentarily on the ground, Porcello bounced back on his feet. He was seen laughing along with manager Alex Cora following the incident. He went on to pitch another 2.1 innings and looks to be on schedule for his start Sunday against the Mariners.

Porcello allowed one run on four hits and one walk while striking out one over five innings Wednesday against the Orioles, Glenn Sattell of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Porcello was tagged for a leadoff home run by Baltimore's Cedric Mullins, but the right-hander settled in after that. "After that I felt great, everything was working well," Porcello said. "Had the opportunity to mix in some sequences and use everything. It was a good building block to keep moving forward." He exhibited good command -- 40 of his 58 pitches were strikes -- and was aided by a couple of double plays and picked a runner off first base. Porcello is expected to make one more start before the regular season begins, either Monday or Tuesday in Arizona against the Cubs.
