Nate McLouth went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer in Thursday's win over the Angels. McLouth owes an assist to Mike Trout, who had the ball deflect off his glove and over the center field fence. The 31-year-old is now hitting .333/.431/.517 with three home runs, seven doubles, 10 RBI, eight stolen bases and 23 runs scored in 25 games this season. Who knows how long it will last, but he should be owned in all fantasy formats.

Nate McLouth doubled and scored four runs in Sunday's loss to Oakland. McLouth has reached base in 22 of his last 36 plate appearances. He entered the game fifth in the AL in on-base percentage (.434), sixth in walks (14), and is tied with Coco Crisp for second in the majors with eight stolen bases. McLouth will come back down to earth eventually, but he's off to an impressive start to the season. He finished 4-for-5 in the Orioles' extra-innings loss.

Nate McLouth went 2-for-5 with two RBI, two stolen bases, two runs scored and a walk in Thursday's win over the Athletics. Not a bad way to fill up the box score. McLouth sparked a three-run third inning with an RBI single and later drove in a run on a fielder's choice in the sixth inning. Some dismissed him as a small sample size success story last season, but the 31-year-old is hitting .302 (19-for-63) in 19 games and is currently tied with Coco Crisp for second in the majors with seven stolen bases. He should be owned in deeper mixed leagues.

Nate McLouth went 2-for-3 with a double, two walks, a steal and three runs scored Wednesday versus the Blue Jays. McLouth is without a homer in 58 at-bats and he's driven in just two runs, but he's done a terrific job getting on base with his .293 average and 13 walks. He's also up to five steals now.

Nate McLouth will bat leadoff Tuesday for the third straight game. Markakis has made three starts out of the leadoff spot this season, but Orioles manager Buck Showalter has seemingly settled on him as his primary No. 3 hitter. McLouth is hitting .263/.349/.342 with three doubles, one RBI, two stolen bases and six runs scored in 10 games this season and might be able to carve out some value in deeper mixed leagues.

Nate McLouth hit a pair of homers Saturday to lead the Mets to a 7-1 win over the Orioles. We were hoping Nolan Reimold would overtake McLouth as the Orioles' primary left fielder, but with Wilson Betemit down, there's room for both in the lineup. McLouth ends the spring with a .320 average, four homers and three steals in 50 at-bats. We're not especially optimistic, but maybe he'll surprise again.

Nate McLouth went 0-for-3 from the leadoff spot on Saturday, leaving him with a .216 average this spring. McLouth was quite an asset in 55 games for the Orioles last season, but also quite a liability for the Braves and Pirates the 2 1/2 seasons prior. The Orioles will likely have McLouth and Nolan Reimold share left field early on this season, but it might be for the best if Reimold wins the everyday job at some point.

Orioles re-signed OF Nate McLouth to a one-year, $2 million contract. McLouth could earn an additional $500,000 in possible incentives. The 31-year-old outfielder was a surprising contributor down the stretch for the Orioles in 2012, batting .268/.342/.435 with seven homers, 18 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 55 games. He projects to share playing time with Nolan Reimold in left field next season and could have value in five-outfielder mixed fantasy leagues.

According to MASN's Roch Kubatko, the Orioles spoke Tuesday with the agent for outfielder Nate McLouth. O's executive vice president Dan Duquette is expected to begin serious negotiations with that representative at some point Tuesday night. McLouth, 31, batted .268/.342/.435 with seven homers, 18 RBI and 12 steals in 55 games this past season for Baltimore. He then batted .308 with five RBI in the playoffs.
