Minor (6-7) allowed four runs on three hits and three walks with six strikeouts in six-plus innings, taking the loss versus Cincinnati on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Minor had a solid showing through six innings, but he allowed a solo home run to Nick Castellanos to begin the seventh. The southpaw then walked Tyler Stephenson and Joey Votto before Kyle Zimmer allowed the go-ahead three-run blast to Eugenio Suarez, with the decisive runs tacked onto Minor's line. This was the 33-year-old's third straight loss, and he's given up 18 runs in 16 innings in that span despite yielding just two long balls. For the year, Minor has a 5.36 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 101:32 K:BB in 102.1 innings across 18 starts. He lines up to face Cleveland this weekend in his last start before the All-Star break.

Minor (6-6) took the loss Wednesday as the Royals fell 6-2 to the Red Sox, coughing up five runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out one.
EDGE Analysis
A three-run blast by J.D. Martinez in the third inning was the big blow, digging Kansas City a hole its offense couldn't climb out of. Minor will be happy to put June behind him after posting a 6.44 ERA and 1.7 HR/9 through six starts on the month.

Minor (6-5) gave up nine runs on 11 hits and two walks with just two strikeouts in five-plus innings, taking the loss Friday versus Texas.
EDGE Analysis
Minor was responsible for both of Texas' rallies in the contest. The home team racked up four runs in the fourth inning and another five in the sixth -- Carlos Hernandez allowed one inherited runner to score after Minor was taken out of the game. The southpaw has alternated between good and bad outings in his last six starts, but Friday was by far one of his worst all year. He has a 5.12 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 94:27 K:BB across 91.1 innings. The 33-year-old is projected for a difficult road start in Boston next week.

Minor (6-4) earned the win Sunday over the Red Sox after tossing 6.2 innings of two-run ball, giving up nine hits and a walk while fanning six.
EDGE Analysis
Minor notched his second quality start of the month and also provided a bounce-back performance after struggling against the Tigers in his previous outing. The veteran right-hander has given up two or fewer runs in four of his last six outings while going at least six frames in four of those contests as well, and he's slated to make his next start against the Rangers on the road next week.

Minor (5-4) took the loss Tuesday, giving up four runs on seven hits over 5.2 innings as the Royals fell 4-3 to the Tigers. He struck out five without walking a batter.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran southpaw got taken deep by Jonathan Schoop in the third inning, the fifth homer Minor has served up in his last three starts and 13th of the year in only 79.2 innings. Those long balls have marred what's otherwise been a solid campaign for Minor, who will take a 4.63 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 86:24 K:BB into his next outing.

Minor (5-3) earned the win Thursday against the Athletics after tossing seven innings of one-run ball, giving up three hits and a walk while fanning eight.
EDGE Analysis
Minor has fanned at least seven in six of his last seven starts and ended just one strikeout away from tying his season-best mark in that category, but he also posted his second quality start over his last three appearances. Minor has lacked consistency at times, but he's been a strong option for strikeouts with a 9.5 K/9 across 74 innings in 2021. His next start is scheduled for next week at home against the Tigers.

Minor (4-3) was tagged with the loss Saturday against the Twins after allowing five runs on seven hits (three home runs) and a walk while striking out five across seven innings.
EDGE Analysis
Minor went deep into the contest but had issues with the long ball, giving up a season-worst three, and that conspired against his chances of earning what would've been his fifth victory of the campaign. The southpaw owns a 4.57 ERA with a 1.11 WHIP and a 46:13 K:BB over his last seven starts (41.1 innings) since the beginning of May, and his next start is scheduled for next week on the road against the Athletics.

Minor (4-2) allowed two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out seven over six innings as he earned the victory over the Pirates on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The 33-year-old southpaw has turned things around lately, as he's given up two runs or fewer in three of his last four starts, dropping his ERA from 5.75 to 4.65. Minor also owns a solid 68:22 K:BB over 60 innings, and he'll look to keep things rolling against the Twins on Saturday.

Minor allowed one earned run on two hits and four walks while striking out nine across five innings Wednesday against the Rays. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Minor dueled with Tyler Glasnow in the outing and fared well, supplementing his nine strikeouts with five groundouts. That helped him work around four walks, as he put at least one runner on base with a free pass in three separate innings. Though his ability to suppress runs has been inconsistent, Minor has seen a strong uptick in strikeouts across his last four outings by punching out 31 hitters across 23 frames. He owns a 4.83 ERA after his first 10 starts of the campaign.

Minor allowed four runs on 10 hits over six innings in Friday's loss to Detroit. He struck out eight and did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Minor served up a solo homer to Miguel Cabrera in the second inning before allowing a pair of RBI singles in the fourth. He left the game with no outs in the seventh after giving up two base hits that eventually led to Cabrera launching a grand slam off Greg Holland. Minor has struck out at least seven batters in three straight starts, giving him a 52:17 K:BB this season. He'll carry a 5.14 ERA into next week's projected outing in Tampa Bay.
