Minor (1-0) earned the win against the Rangers on Saturday after giving up four runs on four hits with six strikeouts and two walks over six innings.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran southpaw surrendered all four runs across the first three frames Saturday, but he settled down and allowed only one single in the following three innings. Minor could make his second start of the season Thursday against the White Sox.

Minor will make his first start of the Cactus League on Saturday, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Minor signed a big-league deal with the Royals this offseason and is set to take the mound in his first competitive action of the spring. He'll have his eye on improving results from the abbreviated 2020 campaign, when he posted a 5.56 ERA across 56.2 innings with the Rangers and Athletics.

Minor signed a two-year contract with the Royals on Sunday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Minor struggled during the abbreviated 2020 season, recording a 1-6 record with the Rangers and Athletics while posting a 5.56 ERA over 56.2 innings, his worst mark since his rookie year in 2010. However, the 32-year-old has been much more effective in the past and will attempt to re-establish his production with the Royals.

Minor allowed one run on four hits and zero walks over five innings during Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Mariners. He had seven strikeouts and didn't factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran left-hander delivered a strong outing during Saturday's matinee, but he had no chance at picking up a victory with Oakland's offense absent all day. Minor appeared in five games since being acquired by the A's and has a 5.48 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 27:7 K:BB over 21.1 innings, and his role heading into the playoffs remains unclear. Jesus Luzardo, Chris Bassitt and Sean Manaea are likely to start in the Wild Card round, but who retains their spot in the rotation behind them is up in the air.

Minor (1-6) allowed six runs on four hits and three walks while striking out eight over five innings in a loss to the Giants on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Minor was taken deep by Chadwick Tromp in the second inning and Darin Ruf in the fourth. Minor pitched into the sixth, and two of the runners he put on base scored when reliever J.B. Wendelken allowed a grand slam to Brandon Crawford. The 32-year-old Minor has struggled to a 5.92 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 55:20 K:BB in 51.2 innings this year between the Athletics and the Rangers. Minor could be a candidate to start one game of Saturday's doubleheader versus the Mariners.

Minor is listed as the starter for Sunday's game against the Giants, John Hickey of SI.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Minor earned his first win of the season Monday, and he'll attempt to carry his momentum into Sunday's series finale against San Francisco. Frankie Montas was initially believed to be a candidate to start after returning from the paternity list, but Minor will get the nod instead. Minor carries a 5.40 ERA and 47:17 K:BB over 46.2 innings across 10 appearances (nine starts) this season.

Minor (1-5) scattered two hits and two walks over seven shutout innings to pick up his first win of the year in the second game of Monday's doubleheader against the Mariners. He struck out a season-high eight.
EDGE Analysis
The lefty fired 102 pitches (65 strikes) in what was by far his best performance of 2020 so far. Seattle didn't even get a runner into scoring position until the final frame, when Kyle Lewis hit a one-out double. Lewis was stranded after Minor needed only three more pitches to coax infield popups out of the next two batters to end the game. The 32-year-old has had a rough season, but if he can consistently regain his 2019 form he'll be a huge asset for the AL West-leading A's as they head into the postseason. Minor isn't yet scheduled for another start, but with Oakland playing seven games in six days next week to close out the campaign, he figures to be called upon at some point.

Minor is slated to start the second game of Monday's doubleheader with the Mariners in Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Minor stumbled in his first start with the Athletics on Sept. 8, giving up four runs on three hits and two walks over 3.1 innings en route to taking a no-decision against the Astros. Though the Athletics haven't committed to Minor sticking in the rotation following his Aug. 31 acquisition from Texas, the lefty will at least pick up one more start with the doubleheader requiring Oakland to at least temporarily roll out a six-man rotation. The Athletics will have another doubleheader set for Sept. 26 at Seattle, with the decision on who serves as the team's sixth starter that week likely coming down to Minor and prospect Daulton Jefferies, who struggled in his MLB debut Saturday in Texas.

Minor gave up four earned runs on three hits and two walks while striking out four in 3.1 innings Tuesday against the Astros. He did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
He got into trouble in the fourth inning, when the Astros drew a pair of bases-loaded walks and scored on Carlos Correa's hit-by-pitch. Minor has now given up six earned runs in 4.1 innings with his new team. Oakland has a 4.5 game lead over Houston in the AL West, so it will probably give Minor at least one more start to try to right the ship before exploring other options.

Minor made his Athletics debut in relief during Friday's loss to the Padres, allowing two earned runs on two solo home runs over one inning.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran southpaw, just acquired at the deadline, is expected to make his starting debut on Tuesday, but manager Bob Melvin opted to give him a tune-up out of the bullpen Friday. Minor promptly yielded back-to-back homers to Fernando Tatis and Manny Machado in the seventh inning, making it an inauspicious start to his tenure in Oakland. The uneven performance was unfortunately par for the 2020 course for Minor, who now sports a career-high 2.2 HR/9 across 36.1 innings.
