Bourn went 1-for-5 with a walk and two runs scored in his first start for the Diamondbacks on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Batting second, Bourn got on base three times (he also reached on an error) and contributed to a 12-2 Arizona win. With A.J. Pollock and David Peralta both out with injuries at the moment, and Pollock possibly out for the season, Bourn could earn himself more playing time. Converted infielder Chris Owings has been the regular center fielder so far this season in Pollock's stead.

Bourn will make his first start for the Diamondbacks on Monday, batting second and playing in center field.
EDGE Analysis
Bourn's contract was purchased by the Diamondbacks on Sunday, and now he'll quickly find his way into the starting lineup after appearing late in the game on Sunday. The 33-year-old doesn't have the speed he used to, but given Arizona's need for outfield help with both A.J. Pollock and David Peralta currently on the DL, Bourn could receive an extended look if he plays well.

Bourn's contract was purchased by the Diamondbacks on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Bourn inked a minor league contract with the Diamondbacks last Tuesday, and it didn't take long for the 33-year-old to find his way to the majors. It seems unlikely he will have an everyday role with the club right off the bat but the outfield is far from solidified, leaving the potential for some playing time. Bourn's biggest asset is his speed, having nabbed 61 bases in a season twice in 2009 and 2011, but he hasn't reached 20 since 2013.

Bourn signed a minor league contract with the Diamondbacks on Tuesday, Jody Jackson of Fox Sports Arizona reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bourn spent only a couple of weeks with the Blue Jays after signing on in late-April, and the two sides cut ties Monday morning. Bourn held a .737 OPS at High-A Dunedin, and he'll now start out at Double-A Mobile within the Diamondbacks' organization. The 33-year-old is now four years removed from an All-Star season in Atlanta, so his chances of working his way into a role with the big league club would appear to be relatively slim. That said, Arizona is thin in the outfield with A.J. Pollack (arm) out for the year, so this may be Bourn's best opportunity to revive his career.

Bourn was released by the Blue Jays on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Bourn posted a respectable .737 OPS in nine games with High-A Dunedin after signing with the Blue Jays, but the club apparently did not think he would be a fit with the big club at any point soon, so they decided to let him become a free agent once again.

Bourn agreed to a minor-league contract with the Blue Jays on Friday, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bourn was not out of work long after being released by the Braves last week, and he will join the fifth team of his career. His OPS declined each of the last three seasons and he is hardly the base stealer he used to be, but the Blue Jays will evaluate him and determine whether or not to add him to the big league roster. Expect Bourn to report to Triple-A Buffalo.

Bourn was released by the Braves on Tuesday, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Braves could not find a trade partner for Bourn after designating him for assignment earlier this month, so they ultimately were forced to grant him his release. Bourn figures to at least hook on with another team, but it remains to be seen if he will land a major league deal, or be forced to settle for a minor league contract.

Bourn was designated for assignment by the Braves on Saturday, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Braves still owe Bourn $14 million, but he posted just a .616 OPS this spring and did not steal one base, so the Braves decided to cut bait and take him off the roster. Bourn's next step will not be determined until his waiver period comes to a close, but his season will not begin in Atlanta, where the Braves will open with Ender Inciarte and Drew Stubbs in center field.

Bourn is competing for the final reserve spot on the Braves roster, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Outfielders Drew Stubbs and Emilio Bonifacio are also in the running for the roster spot. After seeming to have a spot for him earlier in the spring, veteran Jeff Francoeur swiped a spot on the roster and put Bourn's status in jeopardy. Manager Fredi Gonzalez likes his leadership skills which could give him an edge over the other two competitors, but his .245 spring batting average could also lead the Braves to consider another option.

Bourn appears likely to win a reserve role with the Braves due to his leadership skills and ability to play center field, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bourn is hitting just .250 (7-for-28) this spring but appears ahead of veterans Nick Swisher, Jeff Francoeur and Emilio Bonifacio for a spot on the bench.
