Adrian Gonzalez went 1-for-5 with three RBI in a win over the Rockies on Sunday. Gonzalez' line on the whole isn't very impressive, but he delivered a bases-loaded single in the fifth that plated two and drove in another run with a groundout in the eighth. For having a relatively down year, the first baseman is still fourth in the NL with 56 RBI. Gonzalez will look to improve upon his .254/.319/.438 line in the season's second half.

Josh Beckett was pulled from Sunday's start against the Rockies after five innings after tweaking his hip while running the bases. Beckett had twirled five shutout innings, allowing just three hits and three walks before being removed. It doesn't sound like the injury is serious, but fantasy owners should continue to monitor the situation before inserting him into weekly lineups.

Josh Beckett was bombed for five runs on six hits over five innings in a loss against the Indians on Tuesday. Dodgers manager Don Mattingly confirmed Monday that Beckett has been dealing with minor hip soreness recently, and we might have seen a manifestation of that discomfort this evening. He came into tonight red-hot, as Beckett had gone 3-3 with a 1.34 ERA in seven starts since his no-hitter at Philadelphia on May 25, declining to allow any earned runs in four of those outings. Assuming he doesn't need a trip to the disabled list, Beckett (5-5, 2.46 ERA) travels to Colorado on Sunday. He's probably not worth the risk in standard daily mixed leagues.

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said Monday that Josh Beckett had a little something" with his hip, but it won't affect his status for Tuesday's start. It's something to note, but it doesn't appear to be a big deal at this point. Beckett missed the first week of the season due to thumb and ankle ailments but has managed to stay healthy since, posting a 2.11 ERA over 15 starts.

Josh Beckett fired seven shutout innings, scattering four hits, in a no-decision against the Cardinals on Thursday. Beckett punched out four and walked two to neutralize Adam Wainwright in a fierce 1-0 Dodgers' victory. He's on a quite a roll, having hurled 14 straight shutout innings and allowed just runs runs over his past 29 innings pitched. The veteran right-hander entered 3-3 with a 1.58 ERA over his last six outings. Now boasting a shocking 6-2 record and 2.11 ERA, Beckett toes the rubber against the Indians next week.

Josh Beckett blanked the Padres for seven innings, striking out eight, in a win Saturday. Beckett allowed just four hits tonight, and he moved to 6-2 with a 2.12 ERA in nine career starts against the Padres. Things will start to get a bit more difficult now, as he'll face the Cardinals and Indians in his next couple of starts.

Josh Beckett allowed four runs -- three earned -- over seven innings in Sunday's loss to the Diamondbacks. Beckett allowed one run on a wild pitch and while both runs in the sixth were earned, they came as a result of a Dee Gordon fielding error. The other run came the conventional way, via a Paul Goldschmidt homer. Even with the loss, Beckett owns a 2.49 ERA and 1.03 WHIP through 13 starts. He'll square off with the Padres in San Diego on Saturday.

Josh Beckett tossed six scoreless innings on Tuesday night against Reds. Beckett probably could have gone an inning longer, but there was a lengthy rain delay before the game and he threw 128 pitches in his late-May no-hitter. The veteran right-hander now owns a fantastic 2.35 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and 70 strikeouts in 72 2/3 innings this season. In 2007, when he finished second in the American League Cy Young Award voting, he had a 3.27 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and 194 strikeouts in 200 2/3 innings. Beckett should keep rolling next time out against the Diamondbacks.

Josh Beckett dropped to 3-3, allowing two runs in six innings as the Dodgers fell to the White Sox 2-1 on Wednesday. Beckett followed May 25th's 128-pitch no-hitter against the Phillies by allowing two runs and five hits over five innings versus the Pirates on Friday, an 88-pitch outing. This time he was back up to 99 pitches. Beckett struck out six and was mostly in control. Unfortunately, he coughed up solo homers to Leury Garcia and Adam Dunn, and that was enough to lose this evening pitching across from an on-his-game John Danks. The veteran right-hander falls to 3-3 with a 2.57 ERA. Beckett travels to Cincinnati next week.

Josh Beckett followed up his no-hitter by allowing two runs over five innings in a loss to the Pirates on Friday. Beckett was used on four days' rest tonight despite throwing a career-high 128 pitches on Sunday, which might have had something to do with his early exit after 88 pitches. Then again, his spot was due up with a man on base down 2-0 the bottom of the fifth, so he probably should have been taken out regardless. In spite of the loss, it was a perfectly solid outing for Beckett.
