Jaso is out of the lineup Sunday against the Dodgers, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the left-handed Brett Anderson starting for the Dodgers, Jaso will be replaced by David Freese at first base. The Pirates will be facing another southpaw on Monday when they play Matt Moore and the Giants, so look for Jaso to be out of the lineup yet again.

Jaso (eye) is back in the lineup Saturday, playing first base and hitting sixth, MLB.com's Adam Berry reports.
EDGE Analysis
He was out of the lineup in each of the last three games, although he made a pinch-hit appearance Friday. This is excellent news, as Jaso's injury could have also included concussion symptoms, but that can now be ruled out with confidence. He will continue to get most of the starts against righties for now, but prospect Josh Bell figures to join the fray when rosters expand in September.

Jaso (eye) remains out of the lineup Friday against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Make it three straight absences for Jaso, who suffered a bruised eye in a collision at the plate Tuesday but passed his initial rounds of concussion testing. Jaso is batting an even .200 since the beginning of June and many Pirates fans are clamoring for Josh Bell to return, but for now, Jaso remains the primary option at first base when healthy.

Jaso (eye) remains out of the lineup Thursday against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
He suffered a bruised eye during a play at the plate in Tuesday's game, and the last news suggested he has not had concussion symptoms, although that could be a fluid situation. Sean Rodriguez will get the start at first base and hit seventh Thursday.

Jaso is out of the lineup Wednesday after suffering a bruised eye in a collision at the plate in Tuesday's game, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Bill Brink reports.
EDGE Analysis
There are currently no concussion symptoms for Jaso, although he has a history with concussions, so he should be cautiously considered day-to-day after Tuesday's collision. David Freese is starting at first base and hitting fifth Wednesday in his absence, but if Jaso were to land on the concussion DL, prospect Josh Bell could be called up to beef up the Pirates' depth at first base.

Jaso is out of the lineup for a second consecutive game Thursday against Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
Having gone hitless in his last 18 at-bats, Jaso is getting another mental break day as David Freese makes another start at first, batting second. Jaso, who's average was at .304 entering June, has slashed just .194/.289/.269 since then, lowering his season average .50 points since then.

Jaso is not in the starting lineup for the Pirates on Wednesday, Rob Biertempfel of the Pittsburgh Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jaso will give way to David Freese at first base. Over his last 10 games, Jaso has continued to struggle at the plate, hitting just .120 with seven strikeouts in 25 at-bats. He should be back in the lineup on Thursday when the Pirates face Tyrell Jenkins and the Braves at Turner Field.

Jaso is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday for the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
After a really good April and May, Jaso has struggled the last two months for the Pirates. In July, Jaso is hitting .222/.276/.278 with just three extra-base hits in 54 at-bats. Jaso will give way to David Freese at first base when the Pirates host the Mariners on Wednesday. If Jaso continues to struggle at the plate, don't be surprised if Jaso starts to see his playing time diminish.

Jaso collected two of Pittsburgh's three hits Friday, narrowly missing a home run against Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
The Bucs batted him fifth for the first time, moving him out of the leadoff spot because his on-base clip has dropped to .329 since early May. With doubles in consecutive games, Jaso has collected one more extra-base hit than he totaled in his previous 49 plate appearances. He's 2-for-3 off Saturday starter Aaron Nola.

Jaso is not in the starting lineup for the Pirates Wednesday as they face the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Jaso is hitting .273 over his past 10 games with the Pirates. Expect him to return to first base and lead off Thursday as they take on Matt Garza and the Brewers. David Freese will be getting the start at first base for the Pirates on Wednesday.
