Peralta gave up game-tying home runs in the eighth inning of each of his last two appearances, but manager Scott Servais said he will continue to give the right-hander the ball in late-inning situations, the Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Servais was supportive, Peralta only pitched the eighth inning of both games because Joaquin Benoit (shoulder) was unavailable. Expect Peralta to be limited to seventh inning or earlier as long as Benoit is available. And Servais didn't give an open-ended endorsement, either. "We're going to need Peralta," Servais said. "We're going to give him the ball. But when you come in tie games, or one-run lead there late, you've got to be very fine. Mistakes in this league will get you."

The Mariners informed Peralta on Sunday that he'd make the club's Opening Day roster, Bob Dutton of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 40-year-old isn't the dependable middle relief option he used to be with the Rays a few seasons ago, but his respectable track record was enough for the Mariners to overlook a rough spring (7.88 ERA, 1.63 WHIP over eight innings). With Steve Cishek and Joaquin Benoit in the fold to handle the closing and setup duties, respectively, don't expect Peralta to see much high-leverage work.

Peralta and the Mariners reached agreement on a minor league contract that includes an invitation to spring training.
EDGE Analysis
A moderately effective set-up man for the Rays from 2011 to 2014, the 39-year-old Peralta struggled to the tune of a 4.34 ERA over 29 innings with the Dodgers last season. He struggled with a slew of injuries and will now have to fight for a spot at the back of Seattle's bullpen.

Peralta had his team option declined by the Dodgers on Friday, Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Peralta missed time with various injuries and struggled when he was healthy, posting a 4.34 ERA as his fastball velocity continued to drop below 90 mph (89.4 mph average). He'll be 40 years old by the start of the 2016 season, but he should be able to find a spot in the middle or back of a bullpen in free agency.

Peraza was removed from Sunday's game with an apparent injury, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Peraza had been hampered by a hamstring injury last week, so a flareup seems to be the most likely scenario. We should know more after the game.

Peralta (neck) was activated from the 15-day DL on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Following a successful rehab stint with Double-A Tulsa -- he did not allow a hit or a walk while striking out three in three appearances -- Peralta was cleared return to the big league club. He could be eased back in with low-leverage work, but Peralta should eventually provide a boost to the back end of the bullpen.

Peralta (neck) has rejoined the Dodgers and will be activated Tuesday, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This season's been a struggle for the 39-year-old reliever, who's been limited to just 25 games; in that time, he's posted his worst rate stats (5.40 ERA, 1.60 WHIP, 5.85 K/9) since his bad old days with the Rockies in '09. Peralta will likely have to work his way back into a higher-leverage role in the Los Angeles pen.

Peralta (neck) is expected to throw for Double-A Tulsa on Sunday, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
Peralta's appearance Sunday will be the third on his rehab assignment. While he remains on the disabled list, it probably won't be too long before he rejoins the Dodgers' rotation.

Peralta was officially activated from the DL on Monday, Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times reports. Peralta rejoined the team in Chicago on Monday, and he figures to be available as a reliever against the Cubs. He could eventually work into a setup role, but he'll likely serve in middle relief in the immediate future.

Peralta has returned to the team and will travel with the club to Chicago on Monday, the Dodgers' official site reports. Peralta could eventually work his way back into an eighth inning role behind closer Kenley Jansen, but will probably pitch in middle relief initially.
