Salas recorded his fourth win of the season after giving up one run in 1.1 innings in Tuesday's 13-8 victory over the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Salas has already factored into eight decisions through 30 relief appearances this season, but aside from the four wins, there isn't much in his profile to get excited about from a fantasy standpoint. He's striking out only 7.2 batters per nine innings and has proven far too hittable, with opposing batters slashing .326/.407/.732 against him.

Salas tossed 1.1 scoreless innings of relief in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Brewers. He gave up one hit and struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
After surrendering 10 runs over a five-game span earlier this month, Salas seems to have righted the ship of late with three consecutive scoreless appearances. That being said, Salas' flyball tendencies and mediocre strikeout rate make him a fairly volatile reliever, so don't expect manager Torey Lovullo to regularly rely on the 32-year-old in high-leverage spots.

Salas notched his second hold of the season after retiring both of the batters he faced Tuesday in the Diamondbacks' 8-5 win over the Dodgers in 12 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Salas was the first of eight relievers to take the hill for the Diamondbacks on the night, coming on for starter Zack Godley with two outs and one on in the sixth inning. After striking out Austin Barnes to end the threat, Salas came back out for the bottom of the seventh and induced a Chris Taylor flyout before giving way to Jorge De La Rosa for a lefty-on-lefty matchup. Salas is expected to see most of his use this season in the middle innings, so don't expect him to regularly be in the mix for holds.

Salas gave up a hit and struck out a batter during a scoreless seventh inning in the Diamondbacks' 9-1 win over the Dodgers on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
With four consecutive scoreless appearances and a 1.69 ERA and 0.94 WHIP over 10.2 innings this season, Salas has been a dependable relief arm through the first two-plus weeks of the campaign. While Brad Boxberger, Archie Bradley and Yoshihisa Hirano are the clear top three relievers in the bullpen, Salas is probably the next man in the pecking order and will continue to see ample usage in middle relief. Though he's already picked up two wins, Salas doesn't profile as a particularly intriguing fantasy option due to his low strikeout rate and the issues he has had with limiting home runs in past seasons.

Salas was credited with the win in the Diamondbacks' 8-7 victory Tuesday over the Dodgers in 15 innings. He tossed the final three frames for Arizona, giving up one run on three hits and two walks.
EDGE Analysis
Salas was on the hook for the loss after giving up an RBI single to Chase Utley in the top half of the 15th, but his teammates bailed him out with two runs in the bottom of the inning to get the right-hander into the win column. After throwing 84 pitches over the past three days, Salas seems unlikely to be available for the final two games of Arizona's series with Los Angeles.

Salas gave up a tie-breaking solo home run to Charlie Blackmon during his two innings of relief to take the loss Saturday against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
The eighth-inning home run -- Blackmon's second solo blast of the night -- was the only mistake Salas made, as the right-hander retired each of the other six batters he faced. After a strong spring, Salas seems to have earned the trust of manager Torey Lovullo in the later innings, but the 32-year-old could quickly fall down the bullpen pecking order if he's unable to curb his issues with the long ball. Salas served up seven home runs across 58.2 innings with the Mets and Angels in 2017.

Salas had his contract selected by the Diamondbacks on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Salas had signed a minor-league contract with Arizona in January but has impressed enough in camp to earn a spot on the 40-man roster. He's allowed just one run in 10 innings of Cactus League action. The veteran righty is likely to serve a low-leverage role for the Diamondbacks this season. In a corresponding move, Albert Suarez has been designated for assignment.

Salas signed a minor-league contract with the Diamondbacks on Monday, Chris Cotillo of SB Nation reports.
EDGE Analysis
Salas struggled during the 2017 season. His 5.22 ERA and 1.52 WHIP, which were built over 61 games (58.2 innings) with the Mets and Angels, were the highest marks of his career. Should he appear in the majors with Arizona this coming season, he'll be in line to see low-leverage situations.

Salas' contract was selected by the Angels on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
He recently inked a minor league deal with the Angels, and now Salas will join the club as a member of the 40-man roster just before rosters expand. The Angels transferred Alex Meyer to the 60-day disabled list to clear a spot for Salas. He figures to take on a low-leverage role out of the Angels' bullpen.

Salas signed a minor-league deal with the Angels on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
He will report to Triple-A Salt Lake after being released by the Mets earlier in the week. Salas has been terrible this year (6.00 ERA in 45 innings), but he had some success with the Halos in 2014 and 2015, so perhaps he can recapture that form. Even if he does earn a trip back to the big leagues, it will likely be in a low-leverage role.
