Braves Sign Lane Adams and Fernando Salas rotoballer.com Mon 7/16/18 2:57 PM

The Atlanta Braves have signed outfielder Lane Adams and relief pitcher Fernando Salas to minor league deals. Adams appeared in 15 games with the Braves earlier in the season, hitting .235 with a home run and four RBI. Salas appeared in 41 games with the Diamondbacks this season, pitching to a 4.50 ERA and a 30/13 K//BB ratio. Both players will likely function as minor league depth and hold no fantasy value.

Fernando Salas Tagged with Ninth-Inning Loss rotoballer.com Fri 6/17/16 8:45 PM

The Angels' offense, which had been stymied all night by Oakland's pitching, managed to score a run off of Ryan Madson in the top of the ninth to tie Friday's game at 2-2...and then Fernando Salas took to the mound and promptly lost the game for Anaheim. Salas' FIP and xFIP are both above four, and [...]

Fernando Salas was the credited loser in Saturday's game to Pittsburgh, and he certainly wasn't great — he came into a tied game in the seventh inning and promptly gave up a home run to Gregory Polanco.
