Holland won't make his scheduled start after Wednesday's postponement and will instead start Thursday at Colorado, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Holland was poised to make his return off the 10-day injured list Wednesday but will instead have to wait an extra day. The 32-year-old has a 5.34 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 40:16 K:BB over 32 innings to begin the season.

Holland (finger) was activated from the 10-day injured list ahead of his scheduled start Wednesday against the Rockies, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
As anticipated, Holland has been cleared to rejoin San Francisco's rotation after spending the 10-day minimum on the shelf with a bone bruise on his left index finger. Prior to landing on the IL, the southpaw compiled a 5.34 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 40:16 K:BB through six starts (32 innings). Williams Jerez was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento in a corresponding move.

Holland (finger) is scheduled to be activated off the 10-day injured list to start Wednesday at Colorado, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Holland landed on the injured list at the start of the week with a bone bruise on his left index finger, but is set to return after spending the 10-day minimum on the shelf. The 32-year-old completed a three-inning simulated game Friday and apparently won't require a minor-league rehab stint. Holland has a 5.34 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 40:16 K:BB over 32 innings through his first six starts this year, and has a tall task at hitter-friendly Coors Field in his return.

Holland was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday due to a left index finger bone bruise, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear when Holland suffered the injury, but it could help explain the southpaw's poor performance his last time out (six earned runs on six hits and three walks across five innings against the Yankees on Saturday). The move is retroactive to Sunday, making Holland eligible to return May 8, should he prove ready. Ty Blach was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento in a corresponding move and is a candidate to replace Holland in the rotation for the time being.

Holland (1-4) took the loss against the Yankees on Saturday by allowing six runs on six hits over five innings. He struck out six and walked three.
EDGE Analysis
Holland limited the damaged through the first four innings, but the Yankees erupted for five runs during the fifth inning, including a grand slam from Gary Sanchez. The 32-year-old has a 5.34 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 40:16 K:BB over 32 innings and should start at Cincinnati next weekend.

Holland (1-3) took the loss Saturday, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk over five innings while striking out seven in a 3-1 loss to the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
The game was called after five full innings due to rain, preventing the Giants from getting a chance to rally and take Holland off the hook for the loss. The southpaw threw 50 of 78 pitches for strikes but served up two homers, and Holland's been taken deep at least once in every start so far this season. He'll take a 4.33 ERA and 34:13 K:BB through 27 innings into his next outing Saturday, at home against the Yankees.

Holland (1-2) gave up four runs on four hits with four walks while striking out six through six innings in a loss to the Rockies on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Holland only surrendered one run until Nolan Arenado blasted a three-run home run in the fifth inning. Despite having an impressive 11 K/9, the homers are becoming an issue as the 32-year-old has given up a home run in each of his four outings. The left-hander has a 1-2 record and a 4.09 ERA through four starts. Holland will get his next start Saturday against the Pirates at PNC Park.

Holland (1-1) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing one run on five hits and two walks over seven innings while striking out nine in a 7-2 victory over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
The only blemish on the veteran southpaw's line was a Hunter Renfroe solo homer in the seventh inning. Holland is showing early signs that his 2018 performance was no fluke, posting a 3.38 ERA and 21:8 K:BB through his first 16 innings. He'll next take the mound Sunday, at home against the Rockies.

Holland gave up two runs on three hits and four walks while striking out seven through five innings in a no-decision against the Dodgers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The good news is Holland gathered 22 called strikes on his way to a seven-strikeout performance. On the other hand, he constantly put himself in bad situations with four walks. The 32-year-old has a disappointing 5.00 ERA and a 6 BB/9 through two starts. Holland will look to keep the walks down in his next start Tuesday against the Padres.

Holland (0-1) yielded three runs on four hits, striking out five, in 4.0 innings during a 4-1 loss to the Padres on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The Padres had a runner reach scoring position during all four innings in which Holland was on the mound. Holland struck out hitters to escape the first and the fourth, but he didn't leave the middle frames he pitched unscathed. Holland started slowly last year too, posting a 5.76 ERA in April, but then went on to record a 3.57 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 8.9 K/9, so owners should hardly be too concerned after this disappointing first outing.
