Wright (neck) expected to not be available until at least Tuesday, Adam Rubin of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Terry Collins said that Wright's neck discomfort is being treated by anti-inflammatory medication that takes 48 hours to take full effect. He will be reevaluated Tuesday by team doctors when the medication is fully working. Wilmer Flores will likely continue to start in Wright's place at 3rd base while he recovers.

Wright (neck) will not be in the starting lineup Sunday, and may be unavailable Monday as well, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright was sent for a more thorough medical evaluation Sunday in an effort to further diagnose the neck ailment that held him out of Saturday's contest. At this point, a multi-game absence could be a best-case scenario, as a DL stint is certainly in play. Per Adam Rubin, the injury is not related to the back issue that forced Wright to miss nearly all of 2015, but it may have something to do with the shoulder soreness he's been experiencing. Look for more clarity on the situation to surface over the coming days. At this point, however, Wright appears to be a risky option to lock into next week's lineups.

Wright (neck) is scheduled to visit doctors Sunday for a more thorough evaluation, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The neck injury kept Wright unavailable in Saturday's loss to the Dodgers, and while the team is currently treating it as a day-to-day situation, there's reason for fantasy owners to worry a little about the third baseman. Wright was diagnosed with spinal stenosis last May and ended up missing the majority of the 2015 campaign, so if doctors determine if the 33-year-old's neck ailment is related to his back, a DL stint could be in the offing. Expect more clarity on Wright's situation to be known within the next day or two, but don't look for him to be available as anything more than a pinch hitter off the bench.

Wright (neck) will not play Saturday against the Dodgers, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright will get the night off as he battles some minor stiffness in his neck. The veteran said it's unrelated to the back issues that have notably plagued him, though, which is certainly a good sign for the Mets. Consider Wright day-to-day in advance of Sunday's series-concluding matchup with the Dodgers.

Wright went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in Friday's 6-5 victory over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Make it three straight games with a gopher ball for Wright, who's now tallied five of his seven homers on the season in May. He's also hit safely in six consecutive contests, but has struggled overall during a month that has seen his average plummet another 10 points to a mediocre .226. While the power surge is certainly encouraging for Wright owners, he continues to whiff at a brisk rate, now having struck out 55 times in 137 at-bats.

Wright went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in the 2-0 victory over the Nationals on Wednesday afternoon.
EDGE Analysis
The Mets third baseman also hit a homer against the Nationals on Monday. He is hitting just .226, but 14 of his 30 hits this year have gone for extra bases. As a result, Wright has a .195 ISO. He also has a hit in each of his last five games, though, Wright is still only batting .250 during that stretch.

Wright is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Nationals, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright will get the day off after starting each of the previous three games at second base. Ty Kelly will enter the lineup in his place, and he'll bat eighth against Nats' starter Stephen Strasburg, who's won seven of his nine starts on the season.

Wright went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Monday's 7-1 win against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
With each significant hit, the narrative of Wright's season is shifting. Two days after Wright hit a walk-off single against the Brewers, he opened the Mets' scoring against Gonzalez with a three-run homer in the third. The veteran is slashing .225/.355/.403 through 129 at-bats this year.

Wright has offered to play first base in the absence of Lucas Duda (back), but the Mets are not going to use him at the position for the time being, ESPN New York's Adam Rubin reports.
EDGE Analysis
A move across the diamond would seemingly reduce some of the wear and tear Wright absorbs while manning the hot corner, but the Mets are prepared to use Wilmer Flores frequently at first base once he's back from the DL. Until then, Eric Campbell and Ty Kelly are the leading candidates to collect playing time at the position in Duda's absence.

Wright is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
The 33-year-old has required regular rest days throughout the season due to his spinal stenosis, but his absences have become a little more frequent in recent weeks. He was scratched Tuesday due to soreness in his back, and while he was able to play Wednesday and Thursday, he went a combined 1-for-8 with four strikeouts in those games. Eric Campbell will fill in at third base Friday.
