Wright is in the starting lineup Wednesday after being scratched from Tuesday's lineup due to soreness in his back.
EDGE Analysis
Wright's spinal stenosis can flare up at any time, which is what appears to have happened Tuesday. The good news is that he is able to play Wednesday but the Mets may have to decide on a better replacement option that Matt Reynolds with Wilmer Flores sidelined.

Wright (back) is back in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright was a late scratch from Tuesday's game thanks to this back issue, but it seems that he's good to go after testing his back earlier in the day with some batting practice. He'll head back to third base and bat third against Nationals starter Gio Gonzalez.

Wright was scratched from Tuesday's lineup due to soreness in his back, Newsday's Marc Carig reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright's back issues are nothing new, but given that they are recurring, the Mets figure to be cautious with his status. The team has yet to announce who will replace him in the lineup for Tuesday's matchup with the Nationals.

Wright (undisclosed) has been scratched from the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nationals, Newsday's Marc Carig reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Mets have yet to release a new lineup or disclose the reason behind Wright being scratched Tuesday, but he will not take the field for their series opener against the Nationals. New York is already thin around the infield with Lucas Duda sitting out due to a sore back, so the recently recalled Matt Reynolds could find himself in the new lineup Tuesday. A further update on Wright's status will be made available once more information on the matter is released.

Wright is out of the lineup Sunday against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Wright will give way to Eric Campbell on Sunday after making three straight starts at the hot corner. The veteran continues to receive regular rest, as he's made more than five straight starts just one time this season. Wright hasn't necessarily responded well to the adjustment, posting a .231 batting average despite a unusually-high .350 BABIP. This can be explained primarily for by a career-worst 32.8 percent strikeout rate. If the 33-year-old can cut back on the Ks, fantasy owners who bought low on Wright may finally begin to see some dividends.

Wright is back in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Wright sat out of Wednesday's bout with a sore shoulder, but it appears that injury has ceased to ail him. He should continue to get a decent amount of days off to give his back some rest, but his shoulder shouldn't be holding him out of any contests in the near future.

Wright, who is out of the lineup Wednesday for a normal day off, is dealing with a sore right shoulder, Matz will have his start skipped Saturday due to elbow soreness, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Terry Collins provided this news Wednesday and believes the soreness may be due to Wright throwing sidearm more frequently to compensate for his back issues. As of now, there are no plans to sit Wright more often than what has been done to keep his back healthy. But if the soreness continues, Wilmer Flores could be in line for more playing time.

Wright is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Wright will continue his regular regimen of rest after starting the past two games, going 0-for-7 in that span. Eric Campbell will take over at the hot corner for him Wednesday.

Wright is out of the lineup Sunday against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Wright will continue with what appears to be a regular rest pattern, as he'll get a day off following three consecutive starts. He's been picking it up a bit at the plate lately, going 6-for-17 in May to raise his season batting average to .258. In his stead, Eric Campbell will take over at the hot corner.

Wright had a monster game Saturday, going 2-for-2, including a home run, while walking three times and stealing a base.
EDGE Analysis
Wright now has four home runs and three stolen bases and should be good for double-figures in each this year. So far, the spinal stenosis has not sidelined him, as the Mets continue to rest him when needed to keep him fresh.
