Wright (shoulder) moved his rehab to Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright continues to work his way back from a 27-month absence with the goal of being one of the Mets' September call-ups. He went just 6-for-32 in 10 rehab games for High-A St. Lucie, but the fact that the Mets are moving him up regardless suggests that the plan may be to bring him up when rosters expand Saturday. That could be primarily a sentimental move, however, and there's little reason to believe Wright will be a valuable fantasy asset down the stretch even if given semi-regular playing time.

Wright's (shoulder, back) rehab assignment will end Aug. 31, forcing the Mets to make a decision on his future Sept. 1, Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright has spent a whopping 27 months on the disabled list and understandably will need some time to get fully back in playing shape. He's gone just 2-for-19 on his rehab assignment with High-A St. Lucie so far. Rehab assignments have strict time limits, however, and Wright's will expire at the end of the month. The Mets timed it that way so that they could bring him up in September when rosters expand, but it remains to be seen whether he'll feel able to contribute by that date.

Wright (shoulder, back) started at third base Monday in his rehab game for High-A St. Lucie. He played five innings in the field and went 0-for-1 with a walk.
EDGE Analysis
Wright was making his second rehab appearance after starting the assignment a day earlier in what marked his first competitive action in just under a year. The 35-year-old has yet to record a hit through four at-bats in the Florida State League, but more importantly, he hasn't reported any setbacks in his recovery from September right shoulder surgery or October back surgery. Wright's lack of action over the last four seasons likely means that he'll need the full 20-day rehab window to pick up at-bats in the minors before the Mets would entertain activating him from the 60-day disabled list when rosters expand in September.

Wright (shoulder) will begin a minor-league rehab assignment at High-A St. Lucie on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
It will be Wright's first game action of 2018 and he has played only 75 games since the start of 2015. The veteran third baseman will play five innings Sunday for the start of what is likely a lengthy rehab assignment. Somewhat unexpectedly, Wright could return to the Mets later this month if he avoids further complications.

Wright (shoulder) completed three rounds of batting practice Saturday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright resumed hitting a few weeks earlier and has thus far reported no setbacks with the shoulder or back issues that have prevented him from playing in the majors since 2016. He still has several hurdles to clear in the rehab process and isn't expected to be activated from the 60-day disabled list until well after the All-Star break if the Mets choose to bring him back onto the active roster.

Wright (shoulder) is taking swings in the batting cage and continues to throw, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright began baseball activities at the start of June and is slowing increasing his participation with the bat and on the field, but still has a long way to go in his rehab. The veteran third baseman should continue to ramp things up until he reaches game speed, which will provide a much better idea about his potential 2018 return.

Wright hit off a tee Sunday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright is slowly beginning to ramp up his baseball activities, as he was able to take swings for the first times off a tee Sunday: he took 20 swings, per Healey. Wright has also participated in taking grounders and making low-intensity throws across the infield over the past few days. Although there's still no exact timetable for a return, it's positive news that Wright feels healthy enough to add more drills to his repertoire.

Wright (shoulder) played catch from 90 feet and took grounders at third base Wednesday, David Lennon of Newsday Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lennon evaluated that Wright wasn't doing anything to extensive, and refrained from making any throws across the infield outside of one toss to first base. The 35-year-old resumed baseball activities this past weekend when he took grounders for the first time prior to the Mets' game Sunday, but the team has yet to pinpoint any sort of return date at this time. Expect to see Wright continue fielding ground balls and extending his throwing distance over the next couple weeks.

Wright (shoulder) was able to field grounders Sunday, but didn't do any throwing, Howie Kussoy of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright resumed baseball activities by playing light catch Thursday and will gradually build up the intensity of his rehab program in the weeks to follow. The Mets are still viewing Wright as out indefinitely, but if the veteran third baseman endures no setbacks with his back or shoulder while ramping up again, a target date for his return from the 60-day disabled list should come into focus once he's ready to begin a rehab assignment. With Wright more than two years removed from his last MLB action, the Mets likely won't be counting on the 35-year-old to offer any noteworthy on-field contribution in 2018.

Wright (shoulder) is expected to be able to participate in baseball activities within the next one to three weeks, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright was spotted throwing Thursday from around 30 feet in what was described as a low-intensity session. He's expected to begin ramping up his activity within the next few weeks, and if he can manage to avoid any major setbacks, he'll likely go through a full spring training style process before activating him off the disabled list can even be considered.
