Murphy is out of the lineup Sunday against the Pirates, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports. Murphy typically sees action against right-handers such as the Pirates' Gerrit Cole, but with no DH spot available in Pittsburgh, he'll be bumped from the lineup for a second straight game.

Murphy is out of the lineup Saturday at Pittsburgh. With left-hander Jeff Locke on the mound, Murphy will take a seat, yielding right field to Brandon Moss. Expect Murphy to return to the lineup Sunday against tough righty Gerrit Cole.

Murphy is out of the lineup Thursday against the Rays. Murphy will take a seat with lefty Matt Moore on the mound for the Rays, allowing Ryan Raburn to step in the DH role and hit cleanup. He should return to the lineup for Friday's series opener in Pittsburgh with right-hander Charlie Morton scheduled to start for the Pirates.

Murphy is out of the lineup Saturday against Tampa Bay. Murphy went 1-for-2 with a strikeout as the designated hitter Friday, but the Indians made some adjustments to their lineup for Saturday. Jason Kipnis will slot in as the DH with Mike Aviles taking over at second base.

Murphy got the start at DH Saturday, going 2-for-3 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI. He continues to rake against righties, and Murphy is now slashing .339/.381/.492 on the season in 124 at-bats. His playing time is limited by his role, but in deeper formats and DFS leagues on days when you know he'll be in the lineup, he's got plenty of value.

Murphy went 2-for-4 out of the clean-up spot with two runs scored and an RBI in the 10-8 win over Texas on Saturday. Murphy is a strict platoon player, but against righties, he'a an absolute killer. All but one at-bat this season has come against righties and if he secures the clean-up role against righties, he'a always a great play in daily formats.

Murphy will get the start at DH Wednesday against the Astros, MLB.com's Brian McTaggart reports. He has a .278/.344/.459 slash line against righties for his career, so it makes sense that the Indians chose to get him a start with righty Scott Feldman on the mound for Houston. Murphy and Ryan Raburn will both see a couple starts per week while Nick Swisher (knee) is sidelined.

Murphy returned to the lineup Wednesday as the team's DH, Joe Reedy of Fox Sports Ohio reports. Murphy was nursing a sprained ankle that had held him out of spring action since Friday, but he was able to return to the field as expected Wednesday. The 33-year-old figures to return to the outfield in a spring game at some point in the near future.

Murphy (ankle) is expected back in the lineup as the DH on Wednesday. Murphy could actually get a slight boost to start the season with Nick Swisher likely unavailable to start the season but figures to fill a reserve role in a crowded outfield once everyone is back to full health.
